    I can not directly say on this public forum as it could be considered slander, but a lot of people would say it is better DDoS protection than other companies.

    Protection is from Voxility in RO, not MD. Physical location and IPs are MD but routing goes trough RO.

    You are correct - however the machine is in MD so we will treat it as such.

  • any test ip?

    hosteasy.eu -> 178.17.160.32

  • HostEasy has filtering done in Romania and Germany Voxility POPs.

  • HostEasy reseller? But they offer KVM instead OVZ

  • We are not resellers for any location we have.

    I wouldnt be 100% sure on that. I know they were in Moldova before but currently it could be simply in Voxility (which is... much more likely)

  • Own DC in Moldova/Romania? lol

  • No, he means he rents/colocates and no reseller for VPS that hosteasy offers.

    Nothing against @sz1hosting but Voxility's DDoS protection is one of the worst & most falsely advertised thing I have ever seen. Voxility claim it to be 500 Gbps but actually they can't even tank a few Gbps attacks. A friend of mine was paying hundreds of Euros for their so called 500 Gbps protection & he told me it failed to protect his gameserver from very small attacks. I didn't believe it at first but then he signed up for a $10 booter account to show me & I can confirm it really is useless. OVH actually deliver what they advertise without charging anything extra for it.

  • @sz1hosting if you are really interested in providing DDoS protection which actually works then you should switch to OVH's network. I wish you best of luck for your business though.

    @K2Bytes

    We rent our servers from HostEasy - the server is physically located in Moldova - however protection is provided by Voxility & Hosteacy who own there own data center, so it is not the same protection as voxility provides, the anti ddos we use provides better DDoS protection than OVH otherwise i would of bought OVH for half the price!

    And from what you have said i can understand why the full DDoS protection is not all from voxility - partly.
