    I'd post the exact same results as @dmmcintyre3, but hey, time for something different. :P

    The box does seem really, really fast at the moment.
    Here's a test I usually do - Setup a bog standard Wordpress install, setup no cache plugins, just the stock, and run a Pingdom FPT on them.

  • Wow, amazing test results. Great job as usual @KuJoe! Anyone willing to perform a unixbench and geekbench benchmark?

    @ElliotJ

    one of my tests I use if the VPS is going to be a webserver is the php generation time of the index page of a default MyBB install.

    Generated in 0.0103250 seconds (72.28% PHP / 27.72% MySQL)
    SQL Queries: 9 / Global Parsing Time: 0.0076010 / Memory Usage: 1 MB

    For comparison, here's the generation time of a default mybb install's index page on my test server (AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T CPU, no raid, 4gb ram) in a OpenVZ VPS:

    Generated in 0.0054991 seconds (69.73% PHP / 30.27% MySQL)
    SQL Queries: 9 / Global Parsing Time: 0.0040300 / Memory Usage: 1 MB

    This sounds good. Let me know if you want someone to test out FreeBSD
    (Every time i try, they are sold out already!)

    I actually forgot all about FreeBSD and Windows, I'll look into those...
