Come on, we both from Russia and we both know how this works. Especially on Rostelecom, where the websites are blocked by IP address even on shared hosting.

    Tell me more.

Looking at stats i notice a massive decline in russian traffic for rule34.xxx since last month. I went and checked if rule34.xxx is blocked in Russia and apparently it is. So that concludes that ROSKOMNADZOR put rule34.xxx on the blacklist -WITHOUT EVEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT ME-. Funny, we don’t even allow loli’s so without them contacting me i have no clue what image was the issue that caused them to block us.

Info - we do L7 filtration only. Our 2 Uplinks - Globalnet and Anderstelecom

    • Globalnet does filter @ L7
    • Anders doesn't filter his isp-class-customers at all.

Some more - we have some experience in communication with "goverment" and this communication is quite successful :)
p.s. good point here is that we are in the role of ISP and a Hosting-provider plus we have our tier2 uplinks on a speed-dial)

And yes, sometimes law doesnt work as it should :P but atm its not a problem.

Any update on adult content? I will not host the video. I will setup a VPN service on VPS. Then I use VPN to watch adult content. Is this Managed or Unmanaged?

As far as I know the law, it's totally fine until you don't distribute it. Just don't seed adult torrents.

    You are welcome. It's unmanaged.

http://russian-criminal-code.com/PartII/SectionIX/Chapter25.html #242 - Problem is that "illegal" is nowhere defined currently and it's not defined if a "sale" is required and how that would work - So the situation is very uncertain.

One reason why EDIS allows no adult in Russia, i did a lot of research for that(like in most locations).
