Singapore Based OpenVZ VPS Testing - OneAsiaHost
Our new servers have been setup, tested and run-in, but lack active VPS testing/feedback. We would like to offer our OVZ-512 plan for a 1 month test to the first 10 active members (at least 5 posts in the past 3 months) who reply in this thread, as a little thank you to the guys and girls who make LET the vibrant community it is today. Please only reply if you plan on actual use or active testing, not just running bench.sh and posting the results then letting the VPS sit idle.
Spec: 512MB RAM, 30GB HDD, 60GB Bandwidth, $15/month ^
Location: Global Switch Datacentre, Singapore
Network: Transit - SingTel, SingNet, NTT, PCCW, Peering - SGIX, SOX, HKIX
Unacceptable Use: IRC, Public Proxy, TOR, Adult Content
Test IP: 220.127.116.11 - 2405:4200:202::1
Work In-progress Website: http://www.oneasiahost.com
^ I am aware the price exceeds LET's requirement, but purely for testing purposes I would like to provide the OVZ-512 instead since we do not offer burstable RAM or vswap. Our OVZ-256 plan will be US$7/month, which will fit the criteria once we go live.
All I'm requesting from the testers is as much feedback as possible during or at the end of the 1 month test, even if there's nothing wrong with the VPS & you're happy, and I'll extend the VPS for another 1 month for full use (non-trial). You can choose to downgrade to OVZ-256 when the extended free period ends or simply terminate.
Feel free to contact me privately about issues with the VPS, or publicly if you feel that you would like to share it with everyone and possible work up a discussion. I believe I'm one of the few providers based in Singapore and would definitely like feedback/discussion on how our product fares, especially the network connectivity as I have a "thing" for route optimization.
Singapore time is GMT +0800, so do forgive me for slow responses (possible 12-24hrs later) as it's 6AM here right now while I'm typing this. I'm currently still working alone on this project for the time being but will get my entire team involved when we go live.
