    Which datacenter?

  • Nice service. I have one VPS that's rebooted once over the course of the last 9 months. Been up 35 days atm. Great value.

Quite bad routing, CH to ES goes trough USA. Is it a temporary problem?

Your provider doesnt have peering with Cogent. Is a issue on your provider side who goes to USA instead of route vía a Cogent peer in Europe.

Strange... Maybe a temp failure btw Cogent <-> Telia.

I'm in a buying mood, and Barcelona is pretty unique at the low-end. I do like to do my idling in as many different locations as possible.

SSD's only in RAID 1 according to the site. You also get 2GB disk, not 5...

    [root@es ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; unlink test
    16384+0 records in
    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 20.7417 s, 51.8 MB/s

    [root@es ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/simfs 2.0G 716M 1.4G 35% /
    none 256M 4.0K 256M 1% /dev
    none 256M 0 256M 0% /dev/shm

EDIT: Disk space is fixed and speed is better now.

    root@es:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync; unlink test

  • @linuxfetish - OVZ for that prices and location must be oversold, course, because a reason asking for KVM instead :)

  • jmginerjmginer Member, Patron Provider

    @linuxthefish Diskspace fixed
