  • VPS must not exceed USD$7/month recurring on monthly billing, with no setup fee

  • Hmm, requesting mod permission to allow $1.11 setup fees in this thread.

  • Do you have available something for us, Infidels too?

btw. you're taking big risk with spreading 666 Envy and Pride plan. Boss above may be angry.

    Sure, what do you need?

    EDIT: mods redacted 'em :(

What are you looking for, sinful one? ;)

    re: no setup fees

I've never applied setup fees to any Host Nun plans prior to this thread, so I must not have noticed that part of the rules. It never occurred to me to think about whether setup fees would or would not be allowed in an offer. Maybe the mods can let it slide with that in mind?

[***] is incredibly inexpensive, so the setup fee is there for our protection.

"How can they offer so much RAM for so little?" you might be wondering. This is a limited time offer and based in our current circumstances. The node that these VPS will be provisioned on is about half full, but 'actual' memory usage is quite low so far.

1$ gives you protection? sorry but i need to roll down the floor.

Just limit the 7gig offer to 4 Users or something like that.

Sorry I shouldn't have related 'protection' to inexpensive RAM, I was writing quickly. The setup fee gives us protection in the sense that it's non-refundable. So... with such inexpensive offers, if someone tries to mess around, we don't get completely burned if they cancel immediately.

  • Can you PM the $7.77

  • This is what i call, cheap. LOL

  • Poverty, chastity, obedience mate.

  • Too bad the first offer has only 111GB bandwidth without the upgrade.
    Nice offers though!

  • [INSERT REQUESTED OS] - how does this work, open a ticket after purchase?

    I'm looking for Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit

Yep, just open a ticket and you'll be fine :)

Is the $1.11 disk space upgrade available for the 1 GB RAM plan or only for other plans? Disk upgrade shows as $6.66 (was $11.11 yesterday?) in the shopping cart.

I'm not entirely sure about this as I Am A Nub and Ubuntu 14.04 is not on http://wiki.openvz.org/Download/template/precreated yet...

    It's $11.11 annually, $6.66 semiannually .

  • Oh, wait, you want to pay monthly for 'Lust' I guess? We can do that at a minimum of $1.45 / month I suppose. Otherwise the PayPal fees will eat me alive!

  • is that one time setup fee? or yearly setup fee?

    HostNun said: It's $11.11 annually, $6.66 semiannually .

Thanks for clarifying. Sorry, I was confused for a moment, thought the addon price was too small to make sense lol (the prices listed for the plans were yearly and I went with the addon prices being yearly as well, disk upgrade just says $1.11 when it is $1.11/month, so $11.11 now makes sense.)

Just to confirm one more thing, the stipulations on hosting in the TOS do not apply to virtual convents? (e.g. about daemons, irc allowed?)

  • @namhuy one time

@souen IRC is allowed, I thought I had updated the terms to reflect that earlier, must have missed that part somehow. I'll re-edit, refresh in a minute or two.

  • So we've received a number of complaints on the forums and in private about the 'setup fees' in this thread. I tend to disagree, but I respect your opinions so here's what I'll do. If you're tentatively interested but you really think the setup fee is inappropriate and don't want to pay it, contact me backchannel after your order is provisioned and I'll refund the fee. This offer applies to those who have already ordered as well.

Do you have an Acceptable Use Policy?

Do you allow IRC, Minecraft Servers and P2P or any kind?

  • I've edited the price of 'Envy' so that it conforms to LET's magic number.
