If you arent offering anything special for LET, is there really a point in posting a changelog over here every time you have a minor version update?

I expect that we fixed all of reported problems with previous versions even if not stated clearly in the changelog. Do you have any specific issue in mind?

  • wychwych Member

IPv6, and I would hope the issues are resolved :) may have to have another trial once you push the update.

I expect that you mean the problem that both IPv4 and IPv6 were in the same pool and treated by the same limit. From version 1.3 they are separated and you can choose how many IPv4 and how many IPv6 your clients can have. This can be also defined through configurable options and your clients can choose the number of IPv4 and IPv6 during the order of virtual machine.

Do you allocate blocks or random IP's for v6?

  • wych said: Do you allocate blocks or random IP's for v6?

It works in the way, that first available IP for v6 is chosen from the list.

  • wychwych Member

So it does random IP's rather than assigning blocks.

This might be a place for further improvements then.

    It could.

Since SolusVM and your Proxmox Module (amongst others) so far do not treat IPv6 as it should be, you get blocks assigned to you rather than random or line by line IP's.

We will discuss this matter within our Team tomorrow morning.

Certainly! I will keep you updated.
In the meantime please take a look at Proxmox Cloud For WHMCS 1.1. We released it just a couple of minutes ago: http://www.modulesgarden.com/products/whmcs/proxmox_modules/changelog

@wych There is a real possibility of adding IPv6 block in the next version of the module but this will require significant and time consuming changes in the core of the module so at least at this moment, we can't promise anything.

I will keep my eye on the next release notes :)

I can see it being a feature ipv6 ready providers would want... So would increase your unique selling points.

We will have this on mind. I can assure you that we will consider this idea once again, before we will prepare a next version of the module.
