Slighly less memory usage with Xen for me (tested this with 2 identical zimbra setups), but hardly noticable.

But will the performance be the same?
And do you have any recommendations where to buy one that is cheap?
I was looking for something with 4 cores and 4gb of ram

No noticable performance gain/loss either way.

Cheapest i can recommend is probably XenPower or InceptionHosting's Miami offers.

    InceptionHosting seems down.
So any of those will be fine for hosting a runescape server right?

No idea, you better check their TOS/AUP or ask them before buying.

I don't run gameservers, but from my experience with non-game java apps, it will be the same, yes.
