Looking for a hobby box with low latency to Canada. Specs aren't too important but would like a /28 included in the price. I'll be running proxmox vms for different hobby projects.
Thanks all.

How about delimiter?
Nah. I've emailed Steve at Delimiter 3 times requesting quotes and whatnot and never once has he responded. I'd also like to have it up and running in less than a week,
What about OVH/SoYouStart? Not the best but it's priced well and you probably would get low latency.
http://www.soyoustart.com/us/offers.xml ~$60
I'm assuming that is in your budget. If not, I'd suggest providing one
We have:
i3-4130T
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD
10TB @ 1gbit
/28 IPv4
/64 IPv6
$56/month

If Steve is not interested in the business then your best bet is OVH/SoYouStart by far. Their US network is getting better day-by-day and they own their datacentre rather than just renting a couple of racks from someone else.
@MarkTurner all I emailed him about was what a config would cost. Kinda prick move to not even answer if you ask me.
@concerto49 I said low latency to Canada? You guys are in texas?
@concerto49 I see you have a chicago location, but your test IP is dead.
We don't have a Chicago location. That will be fixed shortly.
@concerto49 Yeah your buffalo location would be good but servers are also like 4x the price there. Dallas is way too far and too high.
@agoldenberg - I am not defending his actions. If someone doesn't answer me then they don't get my business. Its a pity because Yomura has been pushing Delimiter to sell our services in Toronto.
So OVH is good/cheap/facility-based option for Canada and US, their network into Toronto and Vancouver is getting better.
@MarkTurner I'm in Ottawa. 2 hours away from montreal but they have almost the same latency as Dallas TX.
@agoldenberg - Talk to them. I know a couple of their NetOps and they've been doing a lot of work recently. We're peering with them a number of US/Canada sites so I know they are heavily expanding.
@MarkTurner Thanks for the tip but this is a hobby box. So $128 for the first month is not happening ($69 setup fee) and max 5 IPS at $3 each? Looney toons.
There are a lot better deals to be had with them than that. Talk to them.
@MarkTurner can I order from Yomura? I can't seem to find any info, but you are truly worth whatever the servers cost. My experiences with Steve are less than stellar.
@agoldenberg - Yomura doesn't sell anything publicly, everything goes via the retail brands.
What Delimiter server did you want? I can try to get to the bottom of this for you.
Mark just helped me resolve an issue on a dedicated server with in 10mins, great support!
i have 3 dedis (now) with delimiter. @MarkTurner assisted in getting them provisioned b4 the weekend which was great. i had a bunch of testing i wanted to get started on straight away and now i have 2 more servers to do that with.
Yeah, Steve sometimes ignored my emails, but Steve always answers, and pretty fast. It's a shame we can declare Mark the supporter of the year
Ended up getting a killer deal from Brandon @ HostVenom
For an hobby box, online.net should perfect for the price (but not in CA ...)

9€ for an entreprise grade Dell's server
@abermingham was looking for low latency. France is a little far for me lol!
