OpenVZ or KVM!
We are starting a vps business at LET prices soon and we need to choose between KVM and Openvz.
So which one would you like us to provide?
(Note: KVM will be a bit more expensive but more reliable.

There's no option for 'please don't start a business at LET prices'.
Considered Xen? I predict 2014 to be a good year for Xen
VMWare :P
Based on what factors?
What makes xen better as KVM?
Largely PVH + ease of adding to CentOS now.
PVH?
Basically the best of HVM and PV combined. Tried finding some good reference for you to read. This might be a start:
http://blog.xen.org/index.php/2014/01/31/linux-3-14-and-pvh/

KVM better than OpenVZ ..
Both. Build OVZ inside a big KVM vps and you rock .
Then i would choose KVM over the oversold openvz.
Definitely KVM. There are already quiet a few OVZ providers here!
I consider a KVM node sold to the point of poor I/O oversold. So don't fall into the "you can't oversell KVM" trap. I also agree with what @FtpIt_Radi said starting out, split the node in half with a KVM and slab openVZ.
KVM can also be oversold on network/CPU/RAM/disk space etc.
I heard people are overselling IPs now.
That would be a good idea because we are getting plans in US(dallas) and Netherlands(Amsterdam)
Probably one of the nodes (NL)
L5520 / E5
72/128gb ram
8x2tb raid
2x1 gbps
This can be easely splitted..
I was trying to make the point that KVM and not just OpenVZ could be oversold too
Indeed, I was merely supporting you on that point.
How would you do that??
You split the IP in half or more but your router should support it. And I believe there must be a kernel module enabled on your node.
April Fools is over now.
Check this if you don't believe me: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/teksavvy-overselling-ips-1093153/
CPU = yes
RAM = with ballooning yes
Disk Space = Not in SolusVM environments since it does not support thin provisioning(correct me if I am wrong)
You're right. Not everyone uses SolusVM for KVM though.
Sounds interesting,
But im not into the overselling of resources.
We also trying serveral control panels.
Any panel suggestions?
Thats different, thats a private ISP for home use with dynamic IPs. Overselling IPs in that sense IS how you do it.
And given the IP crunch, I'd rather see all that space taken back and NAT everybody and hand out IPv6 static blocks for customers that need incoming ports.
You, sir, are a dork.
That's where ISPs are heading here, minus the giving our IPv6 part of course!
If you are going with only the KVM and OpenVZ options, there are the obvious choices like SolusVM, but I think a ProxMox or scripted back end with a custom designed user panel would give you more flexibility and uniqueness going forward.
Xen HVM FTW
And what @Nekki said.
