URPAD Poor Support

  • @user123 this thread was originally complaining about both URPad and @GreenValueHost. The GVH part was removed from title and first post as it was resolved in this thread.

Maybe all those new support reps are actually just Luis replying under different names.

They unsuspended My Container & I could use that for some hours. Then, again got Suspended. Replied in the ticket and Got Reply the following for first time:

    Hello,

Please check now it should be online. We will make sure it wont be suspended automatically by our billing portal for no reason.

    After 10 minutes, I got:

    Hello,

Upon activation of your vps, we noticed that your vps is still making more than 18k connections at a time and we will not be able to keep your vps active at this point and we are sorry.

    :/

By the looks of it Randal from RLT still owns it... www.rootleveltech.com/products.html

Thanks. Any suggestion about how to get someone to reply to my ticket? There is still no reply to my response from this past Friday and I have a feeling that if I opened another ticket, someone would just close this one as resolved and restart the timeline.

  • I would just ask for a refund and go somewhere better... Which is what I'll be doing shortly.

Still no reply to the response I submitted on 1/10 to that same ticket. This is pathetic.

I don't like doing it, but I'm going to open another ticket to ask for a refund. I'm going to be VERY annoyed if they terminate the wrong VPS. I have a few VPS with them and the other ones are generally working ok, aside from the issue - which I have also been trying to get them to fix since November - of the IPs geolocating initially to the wrong country, and now the wrong city.

I don't think that posters should change entirely or remove the original post content in a way that the readers can easily have wrong conclusions, like in this thread. This is not a help desk for gvh or any other provider. Problems here are written either because the provider couldn't/didn't help the op thru his support system, or for information about a provider's behavior/service/issues that other members of LET should know.

  • Just to update, Alex contacted me and URPad support is working on resolving my issues.
