  • Seems very very cheap... Might buy one :)

  • I would give uptimevps a try if they offer VPS hosted in LA, US :(

  • Hi,

US will be coming soon. :) No firm date yet though.

    Ken.

  • @DanielM

Slightly more expensive than the yearly promo, but allows customers to take advantage of a similar offer with less commitment. :)

    Ken.

  • Just bought one haha

  • rm_rm_ IPv6 Advocate, Veteran

    No IPv6?

  • @rm_ No ipv6 at the moment I am afraid.

  • I like their service, wondering why they are so freaking cheap though.

  • @ztec: I second to that. :D

  • @LivingSouL: And I third that!

  • Nice offer! So I get at least 1 month (in case this company is dead within 1 month from now, which I doubt they die b4 it). 1 Month for $4.33 isn't a big deal IMHO.
What do they tell about your service continuity?

  • Have you ever considered using PayGol SMS as a payment option?

  • Or Paysafecard?

  • Hi,

We are researching other payment methods. :)

You can't do anything wrong with Paysafecard.

  • Hi,

Paygol has been added now. Google checkout, Paypoint.net ( Credit & Debit ) & Moneybookers will follow by this evening.

    Ken.

  • The only thing I'm concerned about is the two-disk array, is that really able to handle the I/O need of many VPS's?

Then again, its an ultraLEB, so for 1€ it might be sufficient.

  • Alternative currency has now been added, USD & GBP.

Please note google checkout requires the invoices to be GBP.

  • @luis.

Not so much of a fail, you can install these with rpm.

I used the wrong ostemplate, now it's just going thru.

And thanks uptimevps for adding paygol!

  • Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=6&arch=x86_64&repo=os error was
    14: PYCURL ERROR 6 - "Couldn't resolve host 'mirrorlist.centos.org'"
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: base. Please verify its path and try again

  • @regs I'm not sure what these folk's policy is but I know LEA doesn't look too happy on folks here posting support issues. Best bet would be to open up a support ticket with uptimevps and see what they can do.

Having said that, first thing I would try is removing the plugin that you appear to have installed.

What else have you done to solve the issue? Have you tried google'ing for the error to see what you can find? I know that's the first thing i do when I receive an error, even before posting about it or requesting help.

  • @regs, Reload to Centos 6, it will work

  • It was just a problem with dns is all :P

  • Hi,

Tickets have been replied to pretty much within an hour or two of being submitted. All's been resolved now.

    Ken.

  • had it for a few days, pretty solid so far

  • I gotta say same thing.
