  • Do you have something like 'ipsec status' that shows you tunnel is built up?

  • tcpdump can do it quick if you just issue pings between two computers.

    best way is to make services listen to VPN ip adresses then you are sure 100%

  • Do a traceroute. If it shows nothing... well then it's secured.

    Sorry I missed IPSec part.

  • Ok. I figure out. I shut the setkey off on one server. If the connection disrupted, the we know they was going through server
