$5 /Yr VPS => Limited Time Offer (BlueVM)

Over the last year we've noticed offers with low RAM become scarce and we figured it was time to introduce a new lineup featuring low RAM VPS specially geared toward the goal of bringing back the good old days of trying to setup a blog within 64 MB of RAM...

BLUE0 - $5 /Yr VPS (LS)

64 MB of RAM

64 MB of vSWAP

5 GB of Disk

100 GB of Bandwidth

1 IPv4 Address

1.0 Ghz+ CPU Core (Usually 2.5+, but no guarantee)

Location: Buffalo, NY (More Locations to Come)

Order Link: https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=42

For those of you who need a bit more RAM than that...

BLUE0.5 - $7 /Yr VPS (LS)

128 MB of RAM

128 MB of vSWAP

5 GB of Disk

100 GB of Bandwidth

1 IPv4 Address

1.0 Ghz+ CPU Core (Usually 2.5+, but no guarantee)

Location: Buffalo, NY (More Locations to Come)

Order Link: https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=42

Terms: Limited Support (See: Section 11 of Our TOS)

Haha ! We were also thinking along the same line since we have IPs in US which are not expensive (yet). For now only 128 with SSD enabled, but were thinking about the old 50 cents the SSD version. Sadly, IPs in US are going to end soon too.

  • BLUE0.5 can be very usefull to run nameservers :)

  • Your offers are awesome :D

  • @BlueVM how much can cost additional IPv4?

  • @EkaatyLinux - Due to the nature of the offer we won't be offering additional IPv4. You can purchase 2 of the VPS and request that we merge the resources (so you end up with a VPS with 2 IPv4, double the ram, etc...).

  • Low end spirit huh. :D

  • Wanted to try bluevm's vps for a while since moving to reseller host. 2 dollar extra for extra 64 for a novice seems to be a no brainer. Thanks!

  • Do you allow private PPTP and VPN?

  • @ATHK We do, though you might be slightly pressed for RAM/Swap with only 64MB of each.

  • for a 64mb, maybe that's enough. I'm running an openvpn + pptp+nginx+mysql + php + munin node on a 50mb vps

  • Do you allow game server (Terraria only) hosting?

  • @CastleServers - Assuming you can fit it inside of the VPS and it isn't abusive CPU or disk wise you should be fine...

  • Sounds great.
Allow move VPS to other Location?

  • These are Limited Support VPSes, so we don't do free transfers for them. I'm unsure about fees for transfers, though I'll check.

    Well...not free transfers..Why you can't do that for free?In fact,if transfers a blank VPS,it's quickly.

Because we just don't want to.

It's a cheap offer. Take it or... well, ya know, take it.

  • Nice, I was just looking for a east coast location for my speedtest script :)

login to the control panel after activating feathur(from your email), after changing the panel password you will see your server IP in there. They do not include in the email.

  • @seikan We don't use HyperVM anymore. We use Feathur. You should have received an Activation Email for Feathur in your email. You can set your password with that. If you already HAVE services with us on Feathur, your new VPS is on the same account in Feathur.

  • @junjiang As for the transfers, they take staff time and energy. For a $5 per year VPS, we REALLY don't make enough off of them to justify that time/energy expenditure.
