And 51 and 61. NVMes only it seems. I can't find a thread about it and I know some people here are looking for one, so might as well as post about it. For some reason, it's not advertised on their main page, but on their Robot page and AX line page only.

    It's written on Hetzner page.

  • Gotta make pay 15 euros for an ip appealing somehow.

  • Broken up with hetzner. they aren't the same anymore.

What happened? I had no internet for two months, and all I know is that their IP price went up.

They do this every year IIRC.

  • They might have had lot of cancellations due to increase in IP pricing probably.

They broke my heart again and again. I will stick with others.

Yea, it seems so. I cancelled few servers with them also.

Which providers are you using for dedicated servers?

  • winner is OVH

Mixtures including OVH, Psychz, online, etc. I don't remember some idle ones. :dizzy:

Same here. Went down from 4 servers with them a couple of months ago to zero.
Got replacements with OVH and Leaseweb instead, since I didn't really need unmetered Gbit with exorbitantly priced IPv4 addresses.

1st time ordering (going to) server in hetzner. this set-up fee off is very good deal.

Like to know which region is good. Germany or Finland ?

Seems like it auto selects Finland, if I select Germany in config, the price changes to 39 Euro.

So is Finland any good ? I am going to use as RDP for Encoding and casual download.

Please Help and Thank you very much :)

  • Germany has a higher power price then Finland...

Depends on where you life what is better...

  • I choose Finland then. hope the speed is good there to India where I am.

    Thank you eris.

  • I want to buy it, lol, but it's not very useful, please stop me, thank you

  • HDD would be nice

  • anyone ordered Ax41 recently? what nvme drives they using now?
are they still using Samsung MZVLB512HBJQ?

    There is no delivery yet

  • @kzed If you will get a fresh server, then yes. Another option would be Toshiba, but in real life, you won't notice performance differences :)

I have tuned a few of my ones. 2x1 TB NVMe

    I/O Speed(1st run) : 2.5 GB/s
    I/O Speed(2nd run) : 2.9 GB/s
    I/O Speed(3rd run) : 2.8 GB/s
    Average I/O speed : 2798.9 MB/s

  • @CalmDown, it fast, yes, but the Samsung one only has 100 TBW, i thought this was a lot and enough for me, but as soon as i using it for production, it wearout very fast,,
i only using it less than a year but the wearout level is already at 70%..
i plan to order another server, just kinda curious what nvme drives they are using now..

  • @kzed As I told you, on news ones they're using Samsung, but there is no guarantee that you will get a new server with new/fresh drives.

P.S Anyway, you can request to change drives, but you will get the same modes as you have currently.
