the test ip 23.140.96.75 can not ping, unreachable
Can vouch for the service, killer deal.
Whoops! I was working on that VM earlier today and forgot to turn it back on. Should be good now.
Are you guys still delivering services out of Seattle?
Congratulations on the new DC by the way!
No, we recently migrated all of our existing customers out of the Seattle location and into our new Coeur d'Alene datacenter. The network at our own datacenter is far superior and gives us a lot more flexibility to continue offering the services we do, and still maintain the quality. Given the new location is only 7ms away, and we're still connected to the SIX and other networks in Seattle - for the most part the feedback has been far more positive than negative.
Good stuff.
1.) We're IPv6 native -- /64 with every VM.
2.) All of our hypervisors are all Dual E5-2670 or better with RAID10 SSD's and 128GB RAM. We run our hypervisors pretty darn light too. Feel free to order one and check it out, we're happy to refund you within the first couple of days if it doesn't work out.
Nice.
Maybe you could update your posts to include that
Making @yoursunny proud
Free BGP Session? (ON COLO)
Update: First order go through fine, paid for a year in advence , but the 2nd one got stopped by Maxmind.
What's the limit for this Colo offer?
got anything interesting in house that has the option for an XC?
Pricing on XC's?
How about a L2 or something else towards SIX?
We can do $50/m XC's to any on net carrier (Zayo, Lumen, Ziply Fiber, TDS, Fatbeam, and Ptera) as well as the Spokane Internet Exchange. This is eligible for the 50% off discount, so until tomorrow you can order additional XCs at $25/month/ea.
We can do a transport to the Westin Building for a SIX connection, however, this is going to be a fair amount more expensive. Feel free to reach out with your speed requirements and I can go ahead and get you a quote.
We can also do L2 transport to TierPoint Spokane and US Bank Building carrier hotel in Spokane for under $100/m for a 1G and under $400/m for a 10G.
Any options for a larger one time fee?
For cross connects or transport? We can do one time fees on cross connects, not a ton of flexibility on transport. Reach out to me via ticket, PM, email, or Discord (@NickBogle#2709) if you want to discuss details.
The promotion code entered has expired.I am late.
...how many carrier hotels are you connected to exactly? It seems like the recent outage made you disappear completely from the DFZ.
probably many, exept the multiple fiber lines go from their first hotel, and line between them and the first hotel broke lol.
With one entry and egress - redundancy is hard to achieve
We have connectivity to 3, and we have diverse fiber paths to reach them. The outage yesterday was quite unfortunate.
The cause was a boom truck with it's boom still in the air decided took down several blocks of power and fiber before realizing he had hit anything - and fiber crews couldn't touch it until the power work was finished. 6 new poles also had to be replaced as they had been severely damaged from this event.
While we have diverse paths between Coeur d'Alene heading west, they run in parallel with a block of separation for about a mile, and that's where this damage occurred. Because the truck took down several blocks of infrastructure, it caused both paths to fail simultaneously. We had been planning for a potential event like this, and have had an order placed since the end of April for two new dark fiber paths that are entirely underground, with one heading southeast, and one that heads west with at least a mile of diversity from the other paths. This unfortunately required some splicing and construction to be completed, which is slated to finish on Wednesday.
It's unfortunate that we saw an event like this, especially when had it been next week, we would have been unimpacted. We want to apologize to all of our clients and any inconvenience this may have caused, and do our best to show you that we're committed to our reliability and infrastructure, and preventing something like this from happening again in the future.
Great feedback boss.
This is a great offer, got a few friends turning up over there ASAP
