cociu (HostSolutions) unbanned

In response to several community requests to unban @cociu, the moderators had a discussion and agreed to unban him. Although his acts to date have been disappointingly unprofessional, it doesn't rise to the level of a ban. One could certainly make a counter argument but that's where we landed.
We are not restoring his provider tag.
Hopefully @cociu will provide updates to the community on the Great Involucration.

Is this now the new involcurated thread?
Fwiw, still down. No new IP assigned.
nice
If he cared about it he'd respond in last 2 months
Speaker: Next, I invite @default to say a few words about the grave injustice that @cociu suffered through involucration of his provider tag.
This bring great involucration to the family.
My comment: since yesterday only 2 out of 9 systems reachable, one of which is in Norway. In other words, the current state of HS seems to be close to "this parrot is dead, deceased, gone".
While I'm not principally against unbanning @cociu or even against giving back his provider tag - provided of course certain reasonable conditions are met - it seems to me that 'hardly any systems working anymore -> unbanning' risks to be perceived as "Well done, cociu, don't worry about all the customers you f_cked" which is probably not the kind of message LET should send to someone consistently behaving like a complete and totally ignorant and irresponsible a__hole since more than a month.
The way I see it, cociu could get
TL;DR the admins/mods decision is well meant but given the current situation utterly unacceptable.
Much better: the LET team sets clearly defined and reasonable milestones both for unbanning and for giving back the provider tag (exception: unbanning only for updating his victims).
Unless of course LET is guided by "drama clicks (~ad revenue) are more important than our users".
Maybe cociu will buy the IP blocks back and devolucrate everyones storage servers once chia is no longer profitable?
The Cest Pit (HostSolutions Edition)
Seriously?
I don't want to add false hope / fuel to the fire, but from OGF:

If this is seriously true, then cociu actually did something which is a huge surprise I still hold my belief that he is exit scamming and giving false hope so people don't chargeback.
Also... did he court case get postponed... again????

Sure, why not. Please consider to bring back his provider tag. Because involucration is definitely not a scam, just "unprofessional hick up"... Oopsie.
@deank
It is seriously true, I posted it - and was completely surprised when I saw it. I was beyond the 180 day period so couldn't do a Paypal chargeback or similar.
While the credit is promising, I'm not sure HS will be around by the time my current Norway service needs renewing...
Cant we get a count of cocious unread PMs on LET?
Let's do a survey for porn in LET PM's and person with most porn in thier inbox gets double bandwidth
Doesn't make sense to unban him.
Just new Monday promises from @cociu?
That's it?
Ah, yes, even known scammers are not banned here
(see @AlphaRacks, just could login and post new offers lol).
Well done!
Exactly.
EDIT:
If you think about it, not that surprising. A lot of CC crappy hosts were banned & unbanned in the past.
The question is, will he ever return to post an update...
Holy crap he has a lot of products on his whmcs https://dah85.com/lists/hostsolutions.html
Now that he's unbanned, next he'll probably get his tag back before Black Friday.
I did a list wayy in the back but only from visible offers in whmcs
All of these are "in stock". Anything labelled hidden or test (and a few other checks for pre-released promo ie bf) are deliberately left off the list. It's a tough balance between protecting the providers interests and having the most complete and current list of sweet deals.
Without refounding their affected customer then this is dick move..
Can we make some petition to get cociu banned again?
Did passengers on the Titanic also get a travel voucher for a discount on a future trip?
If the path to free money isn’t clear to anyone, LET users will walk through fire for storage deals.
All will be forgotten once @cociu is back with more deals.
