  • Jesus, those deals look good.

Unmetered means it is not metered how much you use the network. As this is apparently not the case you might want to change that term to the limit that seems to be set in your panel.

Hello, I should've made myself more clear. We set a soft-cap at 1TB to prevent abuse and a single user using large amounts of bandwidth. As stated, if you know you are going to use more than 1TB/m, please open a ticket and we will uncap it for you free of charge.

Legal torrenting yes. If you decide to order we would need a ticket of what you are torrenting so we can deal with abuse (if any) properly.

Definitely No Public torrenting, it would be private one, if that's fine then I would like to claim one vps for use :-)

We wrote our terms of service on a Word document, then it got completely messed up when we placed it on the HTML file.

We are anyway working on a new site, which will be hopefully be pushed live by this weekend.

@hyperblast said: "If you are near your bandwidth limit..." - what is the bandwidth limit at "Unmetered 1GBPS Network" ?

Bandwidth is not traffic volume. The two are related, i.e. if you have bigger BW you can do more traffic per time unit but they are not the same. Band Width is a term from communications, it means the interval or channel of frequencies you can broadcast between. Say, from 1 KHz to 2 KHz (of course not real, just to give an example) and you have a BW of 1 KHz in which your broadcast can be done. You can use it as one channel or divide it further, but it all depends on frequency, the higher the frequency of the carrier wave, the more information it can transport, this is why (among other reasons) the satellite communications are done in GHz bands also why wifi operates there so it can transmit a lot of data.

The more BW (in internet this means speed) the more traffic you can do in the time unit. Unmettered traffic means you can use all traffic you can grab over the pipe without anyone counting and charging extra, not that the pipe itself is unlimited.

This is valid for both providers and customers.

  • Replied to all questions except for mine..

What exactly does this accomplish if everyone will just ask for uncap?

I don't say it is an issue with the offer per se but for years (or forever) people here confuse traffic with BW, I believe once in a few years I should point out that is not true.

Just saw this, wasn't meaning to dodge any questions.

LLC name is Aquatic Tech LLC, DBA information has been sent off to the TX SOS's Office, and I haven't heard back.

I love how all the positive trustpilot reviews would come on either the same day or very close dates from accounts with one review.

    These 4 are particularly hilarious

I never knew that so manny russians from great britain with incredibly similar typing styles used your service, @aqua.

It's also comical how you link to your trustpilot on your new website in development:

Maybe because assumed names should be filed with the county clerk?

But there's stuff you could/should do to help avoid a negative impression:

    • At the bottom of the page, DMCA link goes nowhere
    • Privacy policy link goes nowhere, or sometimes to the customer panel, or sometimes to the ToS
    • Terms under Legal sometimes goes nowhere, but TOS under Quick Links works

The ToS themselves don't mention a choice of venue (unusual) and say "...are owned by or licensed to Central in perpetuity, and are subject to copyright, trademark, and/or patent protection in the Cyprus and foreign countries, and other intellectual property rights under Cyprus and foreign laws" which is odd for a US entity.

I get that you're fairly new and some of us might be quick to suspect the worst, but suggest getting this sort of housekeeping in order.

Was confused about them aswell. I don't use TrustPilot myself, I just set it up and left it to be.

Thanks for the suggestion. I myself have been pretty busy, I run the service with my System Admin, and we manage everything in our rack, ordering stock, fixing issues, provisioning Dedicated Servers, and answering tickets. I had someone write me the Terms of Service a while back and I guess that was left in. As said before, I'll make sure the new site is all tidy and fully complete. The developer has been wanting to talk with me, but I haven't had any time (Due to Timezone issues).

Sorry for all the issues, I've just been super overworked with trying to do all my remote hands and everything else. I'm trying to find some sort of staff members to help ease the load.

    Luka
