Cheap 750 GB server (HDD)

skorupionskorupion Member, Host Rep

In need of the following:
1 vCore
1 GB of RAM (need more than 700 MB)
at least 600 GB HDD
100 Mbit unmetered (1 Gbit @ 9+ TB or unmetered preferred)
Monthly billing at least for the first month or two.
Budget preferably less than 7 eur p/m (I'm from Poland so this price must be after the 23 % VAT, but in case of anything I can order thru a friend in the USA to skip VAT)

Check for Hosthatch sales, they stack and 250GB is usually 15-18/year.

KVM NAT Storage, 1TB, 1GB, 1vCore, 250Mbps unmetered at $5.99 also fits your budget quite well assuming you are Ok with the NAT.

Edit: There is even one better: https://www.wishosting.com/order/main/packages/VPS/?group_id=7

    Dedicated dual core, 7$, 800GB, 250Mbps unmetered, 3GB RAM

Maybe @InceptionHosting or @seriesn might have something? Or maybe not, considering your bandwidth requirement.

Ok just got a DEAL from one of the providers on the LET. Will post a review later in the week. But providers keep posting offers, as many people are looking for storage servers after the whole hostsolutions fiasco.

    KVM-1core-2gb ram -1tb hdd - 10tb traffic/mo 40 eur/year (aff)

PLEASE NOTE: this is their older CPU model (CPU E5-2450L ) so it will not get such a good CPU score, but it will get a free 10GB port upgrade as they are implementing them now so hopefully in the near future.

edit: The offer is from hostsolutions, there might be some news going around with how they are operating their upgrade process to 10GB, I still believe they offer a very good value and will be sticking with them.

Ok tested them a bit and can say pretty solid performance. But the host was albahost and this is a special deal cuz they had some capacity left over at their nodes. Tho still pretty worth it for the normal price as it costs 5 eur to get a dedi vcore
