@nfn did you get one? the RS M egg is now in the footer around here: https://www.netcup.de/vserver/vserver_guenstig_qualitaet.php
No, in that page I found RS Ostern L OST21 with 20 GB DDR4 ECC RAM for 16,61.
Finally got the 1.89€ VPS !!!
If anyone is looking for a VPS Karneval 2020 I'm willing to sell mine.
2 Cores
4 GB of RAM
160 GB of Disk
3.33€ per month (DE statutory VAT)
Managed to grab a VPS Ostern S OST21, this is a dedicated core, right?
No, RS have Dedicated Cores. VPS only has shared cores.
I see, what % is the cpu limit (we are allowed to use) on these?
I also got one 1.89€. hahahahah
there is no artificial limit you need to watch out for. you can use, whatever you can get from it. just don't do things that are forbidden by their tos (mining etc.)
Thank you for the information. I guess it's safe to use it as a Plex server, I'll switch my media server to this for value...
anyone seen RS 1000 G9 equivalent yet? this crap is addicting like finding some stupid game, that is catchy
the smallest RS visible at night was something at 10,xx and sized between 1000 and 2000. their initial page about the easter sale mentioned that as cheapest RS as well, so probably nothing to expect in that line for cheaper than the actual RS 1000
I got 2nd smallest RS (RS Ostern M OST21) for 11.47 in my cart just in case. Expecting cheapest one for 5-7e i guess, instead of 8.4e.
as said, most likely not gonna happen, the RS Ostern S is 10.36 (see also the list from @alexvolk above. while the links do not work directly anymore, thankfully, he put the pricing in the list ;-)
Just grabbed a 1.84€ VPS here https://www.netcup.de/ueber-netcup/rechenzentrum.php
Looks already gone, but anyway they are adding new slots so if anyone wants one just keep searching and refreshing
After all it's Sunday
What is the config of 1.84€ VPS? @nurex ?
I think it's 1 shared core, 2GB ram, 20GB disk, 40TB traffic, 12 month contract and billing term
For how long does these stay in the cart?
I don't understand how it works this year, eggs seem to appear / disappear / change at random time. Did you guys notice a specific pattern to guess when / where one will reappear?
It's a great deal but difficult to get!
don't know. I have something in there for over an hour. but I keep going around on their page, so might be some session handling keeping it alive? not sure...
it seems the eggs stay for about 10-15 minutes, then rotate. also the available products change for the next cycle then. haven't figured the whole schedule to be fair. so maybe it restarts the overall cycle after 2-3 hours or so?
at least it seems that stock is available again also for the smaller or more wanted things, just need to be active for a while a revisit the spots and wait till it pop ups again ;-)
Do they also show on the english website?
no, I don't think so
edit: also not on mobile. just the german desktop version. however, once you get to the offer it should become quite clear anyway, what you get at which price ;-)
Then that might be the problem here
edit:
Switched to german and boom instant egg for .DE (14 cents)
https://www.netcup.de/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=2729&hiddenkey=f1ca064f46f8cb8d6a258b96d9b436a1
I tried on both sites, no eggs on the .eu one.
Here's a fresh YABS result:
As @Falzo said, billing term is annually

To quickly find the eggs:
Open your debugger (F12 on Chrome and there in the HTML search for "easter egg" I already found 10, several domains, webhosting, Cloud vLAN. But no VPS yet
their domain promotions will be available all week, so no hurry with that. the cheap VPS and the root M are probably the more interesting things and quite hard to get from now on.
@Mattie112 the RS Ostern M is at this page https://www.netcup.de/ueber-netcup/ddos-schutz-filter.php (bottom image) right now... the vps probably come back later then.

My script from last year, still works.
As far as I can see it looks the same yeah just a call to /eggs with a 'requrl' parameter
