Fiberhub Launches Las Vegas Internet Exchange

Fiberhub Announces Launch of Las Vegas Internet Exchange (LVIX)

Las Vegas, NV, April 01, 2021 –

Fiberhub is pleased to announce today the launch of the Las Vegas Internet Exchange (LVIX). The primary exchange switch will be located in the Fiberhub LAS1 data center, with other additional potential points of presence in southern Nevada to be determined. The exchange will initially be open to all networks located within Fiberhub’s LAS1 datacenter, as well as any networks that wish to connect remotely to the exchange.

The LVIX has been created to help reduce costs and improve connectivity throughout the Las Vegas market and will benefit ISP's, enterprise networks, and content providers who utilize IP services in Las Vegas and elsewhere in southern Nevada. The exchange will offer ports from 1Gbps to 40Gbps to accommodate both small and large networks.

If you are interested in learning more about using the LVIX to easily exchange IP traffic with other networks, please email [email protected].
