Help with BuyVm Storage Slab
Hope yall are doing fine.
So i have a vps at buyvm and I bought a 256GB storage slab for it. I mounted the storage slab to the vps in the stallion control panel. Them using TightVNC i logged in the server and partitioned the drive and mounted on mount point /data. I used this tutorial to do so. [https://vpsmate.net/how-to-attach-buyvm-frantech-block-storage-slabs-to-linux.html]
everything is fine until the last step when i run the command
/dev/sda1 /data ext4 defaults 0 0
it give me a permission denied error. How can I fix it.
Also, I have directadmin and softaculous installed on my vps. I installed it before i had bought storage slab so all the data is stored in the 40GB storage that came with the VPS. I have 2 websites running on wordpress which i installed using softaculous. Now I want to know how to store the data that i upload to my wordpress websites in the storage slab. Thanks a lot

You need to add that line to a file called /etc/fstab - it's not a command.
Thanks a lot ❤
You can open a ticket and we can help as well
I'll get a guide written this weekend.

Hello Francisco, Any news for this guide?
LowEndBoxTV did a tutorial:
This is everything you need to do and know!
Before that you need to pair the slabs into slice on Stallion..
Damn cool video, thanks for that
Let me know if you need help with anything.

Well... isnt that obvious?
Is there any reason to not disable (or at least reduce) reserved space on block storage like this?
That’s up to you and your setup same goes for the os drive.
I personally disable it on some nodes just because it turns into 100s of GB set aside.
