  • But that's not all, @sandanista. He should at least try to respond to customers. See his previous thread. Also, he says that there is 24/7/365, which is no true. There is no response on my ticket for more than 2 weeks and in the meantime, I tried to ping it.

TL;DR: Just avoid this provider as much as you can even though prices might be incredible.
No support, you'll get exactly zero emails about planned outages and customers are not priority for him. It's driven just by one man.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid saying all that again.

    31 days in my case.

It seems you are the winner :D :D, we should create a dispute on PayPal.

My amount involved is very low so I won't be opening a dispute. But, if you had a bigger/costlier plan, then it makes sense for you to open a dispute. I just hope that the provider processes all the refund requests.

  • Today I finally got a refund from Lufthansa for a flight I booked Feb 20. I asked for a refund beginning of March. Yippee. Some good news for this thread, albeit slightly off topic.

I do to try my best to respond to everyone and I always answer when it comes to down time, I admit tickets for the last couple of weeks have been slow but they have been answered.

regarding the last lot of downtime on node06 I admit I was quiet on giving information as Finland authorities had a warrant to take the server offline to retrieve data from the server. Hetzner wasn't told much about it and therefore could not tell me much about it.

If I am honest with you I kept it quiet because I pooped myself a little bit and never had been in that situation before and did not want to be accused of getting in the way of any criminal investigations.

Apart from this incident I believe I have gotten better on updating clients with issues.

  • Just a heads up folks I made a mistake on the French Special, am afraid its Intel Xeon 3.7Ghz not AMD Ryzen.

    Sorry for the mistake.

  • @starservices when do you plan to answer those tickets ? Mine is still there by 3 weeks.

Will you give the money back for those Direct Admin services?

Just forget about it. Seems like he's not interested in refunds. He should, at least, have given account credits, but no, not even that.

    Hi,

Sorry its taken so long to get to your ticket, since we stopped offering DirectAdmin we refunded over 95% of our customers so far. I am really sorry for the slow process and if you private message me with your ticket number I get it resolved today.

This must of fixed itself by time I got up but thank you for mentioning I have increased PHP resources so it doesn't happen again.

As far as I understand there are not so many issues with the other nodes but UK location has been an absolute nightmare which is a bit odd considering he's just reselling OVH. Thing is the support is terrible as you can see from other comments and he doesn't seem to care too much if things go wrong, even more there was a post in one of these threads where he claimed his customers weren't that important if they signed up from one of these offers he is posting on LET which gave me a good laugh. Not that a customer paying full price gets different support whatsoever.
Also, as far as I know there has been no compensation for any of the customers that experience these downtimes as apparently it's not worth it for him to compensate people for days of downtime which is too bad because I personally would have given the French Special a try.

    Thanked by 1amsaal
  • I have the German special. Good so far. But I agree his responses have been laughable at best sometimes.

  • Please reply ticket#187179 and give a refund soon.

i do understand but when you order it has to be confident that there is no down times as i would use for game server for my friend who cannot afford a dedicated server from OVH. Thanks for your explanation .

So stable. I do not remember any downtime from their side.

    [root@docker-de-03 ~]# uptime
     15:39:14 up 149 days, 3:59, 1 user, load average: 0.10, 0.32, 0.21

I've got few downtimes only when I deploy new stuff.

Thank you for providing 99,9 (read it as 100) uptime and quality service.

P.S. I haven't contacted support, can't say anything about it.

Thank you for the feedback, regarding downtime we have had with node02 people should of received an email now explaining how we going to get a new node to replace it.

The question is: why did it take you nearly half a year to investigate that? That node has been a roller coaster for many months with ridiculous downtimes of nearly 24 hours in one go.
Also, are you going to compensate at all those who experienced these downtimes?

To be fair it hasn't been an issue for half a year, a long time yes the pass 3 months its started getting issues. Regarding compensation I want to sort all that out on after the migration process, however I will be changing the ToS for those with special offers with me as some people are literally crying over pennies and I got other priorities.

I got paid monthly customers that just want stability then I got customers that pay me £22 a year for a 4GB RAM VPS that want my blood for compensation.

  • @starservices why do you charge money for cancelled services?

Also, when do you give the money back for those admin services? More than a month opened ticket, direct messages here...

PayPal dispute is the next step.
