Leaseweb Singapore VPS processor model

Anyone using their new VPS range in Singapore?

I have the old range with Xeon Sandy Bridge. Wondering if they've upgrade the hardware on their new range.

  • So why not e-mail them and ask them? From what I understand Leaseweb support is pretty responsive, so that's probably your best bet to get the information yours after.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

  • Just done that, through chat though.

They won't disclose the exact model, just they 'usually' use the latest model.

The sales person did said they are not using AMD but Cloudstack instead. :D

Leaseweb's VPS has been great for me.. stable, reliable and consistent performance.. but their ticketing and live chat always frustrates.

  • Leaseweb VPS is awsome.. the only minus is they limit disk performance..

  • For my SG VPS still with Xeon Sandy Bridge, I did ask two months ago, they said, no AMD in Singapore.

Disk IO has been upgraded (double from 100 to 200 ) year ago. More than enough for me.

They only accept bussiness to bussiness relationship.. you need to use your office address/registration

So they haven't upgraded the hardware. Xeon sandy bridge is too old IMHO.

But Leaseweb SG VPS is still one of the most stable vps in my collection.

    Thanks for the info @smile93

Yes, you need to register with company account, can't register as personal account for SG VPS.
