Being hosted now by DDOS-Guard
Their domain registrar is EPIK

k lol
I have a feeling that discussions in this thread is not going to end well
Isn’t loading, maintaince mode.
Well before when AWS dropped them it couldn't load or resolve anything. They had to change hosting providers and domain registrars. This is the first time the page has displayed anything since they went offline. If this post isn't allowed or will cause problems then the mods should feel free to close it. Also I'm not advocating for Parler. This is just an interesting relevant topic to the hosting world I feel. I also found it interesting watching thepiratebay, gab, 8kun, and other controversial sites burn through domain registrars and hosting providers.
lol that registrar is literally founded/directed by a man with the last name Monster.
Kojima-nomenclature strikes again
The infamous DDoS-Guard wondering how long they gonna survive before authorities will come for their slice of pie and if they won't share enough, all those parlers, 8chans and other "free speach havens" will be left with bare pants in the cold night...
Ah yes Russian hosting company, we all love thos
One of their misuse cases are:
● sending a message or having content that is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or indecent with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass another person;
Oh well, how ironic
Its not being hosted by DDOS-Guard since its a cloudflare competitor. The backend is somewhere else.
Edit, Its https://www.ipvolume.net/ (Possibly the Moscow DC) for servers and Epik for DNS hosting as they briefly appeared in whois records before ddos-guard.
They were idiots for pointing the domains/subdomains to ipvolume briefly instead of directly adding ddos-guard nameservers and doing the changes from there.

There's no need for words.
This site looks shady AF. Zero information about the company. And they hate bulletproof hosters, what an irony.
Looks like it's another brand of Novogara? https://badpackets.net/a-conversation-with-ripe-ncc-regarding-quasi-networks-ltd/
Yes, its ex Quasi Networks apparently.
Yes, mainly used for pirate streaming nowadays.
They have not been very competent technically during this whole ordeal.
Could they still be at Epik? Epik uses ipvolume ips for their hosting. Ipvolume.org is registered with Epik, going to the .net. as does their proxy service, tied to Swiss ips. Epik has ties to Switzerland for their incorporation structure and they own (Swiss?) ipblocks.
just maintain page. I think they are still looking their low-end dedicated servers
A sad day when an american social media company have to run to Dos-Guard and Ectal for their hosting.
Curious tho, with the specs in the twitterpost above - how much would it costs Parler per month/year?
Wtf
I believe in the other thread it was mentioned they were paying 300k/month to AWS.
What sort of processing are they doing here? O.o
Lol they're using Office 365 for e-mail
Mhhh... Serverporn. I like!
Either the Parler guys utterly lack even minimal professionalism and know-how or this whole Parler thing was/is just a tactical maneuver of some group.
Either way I wouldn't even let my neighbors dog sign up there.
Will be interesting to see who hosts it eventually...
I'm all for free speech, but what's the right move here? Maybe they should be subpoenaing identities of people threatening violence and leave the other wackos to their conspiracies? Or browsers could label whole domains as misinformation zones, but not take them down? Or maybe saner internet people just need to take it on themselves to ridicule the idiots?
Why don't they just host on TOR or Freenet etc?
As soon as any competing social network starts to grow why is it that the existing media coordinate in smearing the new user base as white nationalists, racist, child molesting degenerates. And why does the smearing work? Can't people think for themselves?
I've never been on Parler but I heard some bad things and i've seen a post or two that I didn't like so i'm sure the entire site was like that so fuck them based on what I read.- someone probally
I mean they were openly courting those groups to pad Parler's userbase.
"Why do people think the site actively trying to build usercount by recruiting deplatformed racists and reactionaries that also to this day does not have systems in place for detecting, removing, and reporting child abuse content is filled with white nationalists and pedophiles?"
What do you think the Venn Diagram for "people technical enough to get on Tor" and "people who stormed the capital because pepe memes on 8kun said it was a good idea" looks like?
Two separate circles is a venn diagram?
I'm not disagreeing but could you provide proof?
Was everyone banned from Twitter, Facebook a racist / reactionary / pedophile? I don't think its fair to paint every one with such a broad brush.
People have been on these platforms from near the beginning and have been banned and lost a decade plus of views, comments user base, been demonetized with no reason given [not that it would matter].
But be real this is because they don't like the peoples politics.
@trycatchthis it's true, I don't like the politics of gullible or insane people either. I do think there are probably more effective ways to deal with the criminal conduct than to confirm their paranoia by taking down the platform though.
