Hello everyone.
I am looking for a windows vps server of 10€ per month, with 2/3 tb, possibly in Europe.

I need it for plex, but I don't need to transcode.

Thank you!!!

Interesting, too bad it's the same oneprovider offer.

I'm looking for windows because I have a couple of applications that need to edit content before it's uploaded to plex.

Up your budget and try @LiteServer or @Mr_Tom - not sure about the Windows on their Storage plans but you can ask - take a look. They are both prem providers tbh.

    Thanked by 2LiteServer Mr_Tom

Isn't there any Linux alternative? Windows VPS usually a bit expensive than Linux & running windows will use some extra resources too.

With that budget it's very hard. I'm willing to do it for €20 (excl VAT), normally it's 25. I don't have Windows licenses though so you'd have to bring your own.

    https://billing.novos.be/cart.php?a=add&pid=42

    2x AMD Ryzen 3900XT vCPU
    4096 MB ECC Memory
80 GB NVMe SSD OS Disk Space
2 TB SATA Block Storage (€6/mo more for every additional TB).
    1 x IPv4 address
    /64 IPv6 Subnet
    25 TB Monthly Bandwidth
    1 GBps uplink
    Antwerp, Belgium DC

If you really need to stick to that budget perhaps @cociu can help you out.

  • Guys Windows is free...
the trial version is 180 days, it's not a few days...
just reinstall the os and it will re-leave from 0.

at the moment I use Servarica, but the servers are very far away and often the disks are overcharged and you can not use the programs I need.

    Case in point.

  • Get a $4 linux vps, install plex and rsync, use google unlimited drive.

  • know how to have unlimited google > @Barnesanger said:

I know it's a bit out of your price range, but @marvel offer is pretty good. Awesome CPU performance, awesome support, and you'll have two disks one for the operating system and one for your plex content. It's worthy it.

    Thanks for the tag @OsirisBlack

We're adding Windows server to our lineup (hadn't thought about adding it to the storage line as didn't think it would be requested) but it's not quiet ready yet.

    What's your RAM/CPU requirements?

  • @seriesn nexus bytes

Thanks fam. Block storage with a hint of premium vps might be the easier route :)

If you got time to reinstall 2+ times a year, your time is worthless.

Yeah, even bronchitis takes up less time than reinstalling windows.

Yeah, even bronchitis takes up less time than reinstalling windows.

For me, reinstalling Windows is cake (unattended.xml plus chocolatey for the win), it's the app reinstall/restore and configuration that takes time.

Agreed. Ain't nobody got time for reinstalling and setting up dozens of windows apps
