    Pre-mature post!

    Please fix link =)

    Real link: https://php-friends.de/vserver-ssd/vserver-black-friday-2020-ssd

    We found your dev server.

  • @PHP_Friends please correct the link, it says https://dev-live.php-friends.de/vserver-ssd/vserver-black-friday-2020-ssd

  • The link in your post is wrong. Should be https://php-friends.de/vserver-ssd/vserver-black-friday-2020-ssd

    And its not 16 % less ;)

Nothing special there, 99% of the time it's just an 1:1 copy of our website :D

  • @PHP_Friends said: 2 cores (Intel Xeon E5)

I think there was a little drama last year with those cores - dedicated cores?

@Philipp said: And its not 16 % less

Of course you're also right. Fixed.

  • are the cores dedicated or shared?

  • @PHP_Friends hello, have being eyeing the page since some time.
Trying my luck here, but are the cores dedicated? Generally all your offers have dedicated cores, I think.
If not, just wanted to know if there's any limit on CPU usage. Won't bash it, maybe some spells of light remote development, and maybe some Plex playback.

    Thanks :)

  • The price without VAT is calculated like 4.95€÷116% not 4.95€×84% :D

  • Is it with unmetered bandwidth?

  • @PHP_Friends - can you also provide details on the specific CPU models being used on the host node? Thanks.

No, dedicated cores are always clearly described as dedicated at our product descriptions. But according to our quality standards we make sure the nodes don't get overloaded, so there should not be a relevant amount of CPU steal. We just don't guarantee it 24/7 like we do at our more expensive (regular) products :)

And we have added more powerful CPUs this year (mainly Intel Xeon E5-2650 v2 running at stable 3 GHz), so way more power than we had last year (mainly used E5-2620/2630 v2).

  • Highly recommend @PHP_Friends using them for more than 2 years, more stable and good provider

but, yeah @PHP_Friends any EPYC deals for BF please?
I am happy with last year's BF offer- renewed it a few days ago. But always nice to see what else is out there.

  • Any one get it? Please share your benchmark

  • I was waiting something for 20€ yearly :D

I was using that interface actually.

  • @PHP_Friends Why is there a separate solusvm account for each server? SolusVM is capable of multiple servers per account if a customer has multiple servers
