Which processors of this two is better for a Web server?:

3.1 GHz 4 cores .
My vote for E3-1220
ViridWeb.com - Reseller Web Hosting | Litespeed + SSH Access + Free Blesta + IPv6 Compatible.

Providing less than /64 means "we are clueless about IPv6". My geekbench results. I haz BuyVM, HostHatch, Online, ServaRica, Veesp.
The one with more RAM.
E3 and it's not even close.
The magnificent E3 would smash the puny atom into pieces causing a nuclear reaction on any task, honestly. The only advantages the atom have over the E3 are cost and power consumption - and that's it.
See in my aff garden for VPS and hosting from different providers all in one place.
It's actually amazing that E3v1 is about 10 years old now and yet it is still perfectly serviceable for many different type of applications.
Intel was so far ahead of their time with the E3 platform.
+1 for E3.
Atom are not in the same league.
signature for rent - ^_^
Web and VPS hosting - Top notch performance
