E3 and it's not even close.
The magnificent E3 would smash the puny atom into pieces causing a nuclear reaction on any task, honestly. The only advantages the atom have over the E3 are cost and power consumption - and that's it.
It's actually amazing that E3v1 is about 10 years old now and yet it is still perfectly serviceable for many different type of applications.
Intel was so far ahead of their time with the E3 platform.
+1 for E3.
Atom are not in the same league.
