yeah you won't find a dedicated ryzen in the states for anywhere near this price, other than that the bench speaks for the rest.

It's actually WebNX but they've this Sub-brand called GorillaServers specially for their Utah location. I've been their customer for quite a few months and everything is super solid so far.

    +1 for GorillaServers aka WebNX

Even in the EU itself is not that easy to find comparable Hetzner prices for Ryzen - and this is in US, WebNX, so yeah it's a deal alright.

  • Nice find! Jesus that's cheap for a ryzen!

  • I got a Ryzen 3600 server from them too (at the same $49):

    Upgraded Ryzen 3600 + storage
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.4Ghz 6 Core 12 Thread with 4.2GHz boost
    32GB DDR4
    256GB NVMe

The benchmark from my server shows much slower recv speed though, for non-LA locations:

Only bummer being that the x470d4u might have some hiccups from time to time, like the IPMI locking up during a reboot, together with the rest of the system.

  • I've got a ryzen 3900x vps wit 6 dedi cores. Should i swap that out for 1 of these ryzen 5 3600 dedis? Any advice would be appreciated

Most vps with dedicated cores aren't really dedicated. Also most treat threads as cores. So imo, yes.

  • Nice mix of nvme and HDD I could swap out all my vps’s for that monster
