AMD EPYC NAT VPS| 256MB - 2GB | SIngapore ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ Netherlands ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ New York ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Hi,

What is a NAT VPS?

Network Address Translation (NAT) is the process where a network device, usually a firewall, assigns a public address to a computer (or group of computers) inside a private network.
So a VPS thatโ€™s utilizing this kind of technology is shortly understand-able as a VPS with shared IPv4.
It comes with a dedicated IPv6 subnet.
In low end vps world, the main purpose of NATted VPS is also to make the price as low as possible.
Most popular OS choices like Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS can be installed from the control panel.

Shortly itโ€™s just like any common VPS, but it comes with Shared IPv4, not dedicated.

All plans come with /112 IPv6 Subnet, NAT IPv4 with 20 usable ports + 1 SSH port, Domain Forwarding(host on IPv4 port 80/443)

VPS - NAT2G

What can you use this kind VPS? Here it is few examples of what you can do with it:

  • Host a full-fledged website (w any CMS like Wordpress, Ghost etc) on port 80/443
  • VPN - Most protocols including OpenVPN & Wireguard can be used.
  • Proxy (private, protected)
  • IRC client/server (IPv6)
  • VoiP apps like Teamspeak, Mumble etc.
  • Anything you want with native IPv6
  • A simple remote terminal with root access, testing scripts & other stuff.
  • A light usage remote desktop.
  • Distributed database, Web Scrapers etc.
  • Many more possibilities....may ask in this thread.

Okay, I looked both in the listing and on the store there... what actual virtualization are you using? No where in this post or on the site you are taken to does it actually indicate what virtualization is used.

Is it OpenVZ? KVM? Xen? What type of control panel do you provide, is it custom?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Virtualization is ovz7 & control panel is virtualizor, accessible directly from the billing area.
I will make sure to include this in post from next time. :+1:

I wouldn't be interested in Hong Kong due to the CCP law changes, but Japan and South Korea would be amazing additions!

Some valid points, Japan should be nice if we are able to get a sustainable provider. :)

Gaming yes, torrenting is okay as long it is legit & we receive no complaints.
A warning is given in such cases.

  • What will be the reduced speed after the limit?

  • does domain forwarding support websocket protocol?

    Hello,

What will be the reduced speed after the limit?

The speed after reaching transfer limit is automatically adjusted according to the total bandwidth available. The default is 10mbps.

Yes, it works & is allowed, recommend using nyr install script makes it super easy, though you can also install manually.

Docker is supported & can be used, would need atleast 512MB ram to avoid issues i think.
