NexusBytes (Uncle Bob) review after ~1 year

I joined the NexusBytes ( @seriesn ) family via "Thursday Mega Deals". Being an ardent fan of Intel gold processors, I was indecisive about Ryzen. However, "Thursday Mega Deals" used to be very appealing. So, I decided to start with the smaller plan (I think it was $2.5 or $3/ month). Within a week, I fell in love with Ryzen and got the best deal: 4 core/ 4gb RAM/ 40gb NVME storage/ 4TB bandwidth for just $72/year. I call it a kind of lottery.

In one year, I asked NB to migrate my VPS 3 times: Germany to LA, LA to NY, and NY to Germany. Despite I got this VPS via deal, the NB team always understood my requirements and helped me with the migration. I would say they go the extra mile to keep even old family members happy.
Overall, I would rate their support 5/5 as their response time is <20 minutes and they look into all the issues you raise despite they offer unmanaged services.

I do not have to mention the performance of the VPS. Most of the LET users know NB nodes are never over-crowded and you get an extremely fast VPS. E.g. if I disable ads on my webpages, it takes <1.5s to open in the US/Europe/India. My server location is Germany and here is the latest benchmark report:

I use HetrixTools to monitor uptime and it is ~100%. The VPS goes down only when I do not like 100% uptime and start playing with some installations

For me, NexusBytes is a top-notch VPS provider. Once you join the family, the NB team will do their best to keep you happy and satisfied.
Thank you NexusBytes!!!

  • @seriesn is premium

  • @pkr your post reminded me that it has indeed been a year since I first got a Nexusbytes VPS...

  • One of my clients was migrated from Hotlineservers Chicago to NB Utah, and I must say the Ryzen CPU is indeed beefy. But the network connectivity in Utah is a bit worse that they had in Chicago. It'd be great that NB start offering Chicago as well.

  • No doubt, nexusbytes is prem. Waiting for next great deal.

Boss, said this before, will say it again, deals with us will continue to become rare as the key focus right now is to improve what we offer and keep a steady income flow, that would allow us to be around for years to come. Limited promos are limited for a reason, else they become the standard price ;). I don't foresee any Black Friday craziness :)
