Oh no I need self hosted image hosting for my screenshots

Right now I was sending a screenshot to a guy in Turkey but he said he could not access

imgur.com
Wait a min I realized all these services might be censored in a country so better to self host my screen shot, please suggest :(

  • If you don't need the gallery feature, try ShareX + FTP or B2 or any cloud storage you have

    I've used this for years.

Edit: Pair it with something free like https://afreecloud.com/ and you'll be all set very quickly.

  • Chevereto Free should get you running

Lightshot, no gallery feature but great for sharing images. Simple and lightweight.

  • ShareX (if linux, use screencloud) with uploading to BunnyCDN is what I'd suggest as the pricing + speed is hard to beat.

  • good old puush.me in combination with a proxy like https://github.com/jannispl/puushproxy i havent used this combo personally for a few years as theres no puush support on linux

What type of messaging are you using to send the image url to the guy which you can't use to send an image?

Imgur is blocking some places too.
OnionShare can help you anywhere in the world.

Scaleway's object storage might work. First 75 GB storage is free with monthly 75 GB egress traffic.

Otherwise go with Backblaze B2, free 10 GB storage, and Cloudflare for proxying to not incur outbound charges.

Scaleway is also a Bandwidth Alliance partner, but they still charge for traffic in object storage whilst all free in compute instances.
