What Ram/CPU specs VPS is necessary for 24/7 headless selenium? What would be considered the minimum/ also what would be comfortably stable with some headroom? Also do hosts care if you do selenium scraping on their VPS?

Selenium Web-Driver uses jdk and chromedriver. So guess you need to start from 2GB RAM , with mostly any provider you able to upgrade your VPS package anytime w/o data loss and dowtime.
Well we able to configure the environment for you free of charge if you host with us.

Be careful, you're not a provider here so trying to solicit business could get you banned.

The biggest problem with 24/7 headless is CPU, which is a shared resource on most VPS providers. Chrome is really intensive and if you review most ToS, they prohibit sustained use of CPU or high load averages - both of which headless Chrome cause.

RAM you can get away with 1.5 - 2GB.

Yes this may be a problem if providers oversell or use old openvz6 [where cpu limit not working properly for all cases] but with openvz7 providers have more cpu limit control.
However for such case better to select KVM Virtualization.

Tank you . I'm not sharing any links and registered here since 2016. Wonder why we have lost provider status [ticket already submitted]
