HostUS - KVM Launch in Singapore! Ryzen, NVMe and more!
Hello friends!
Thank you for spending your time checking out our latest offer.
Back in 2016 we launched OpenVZ VPS services in Singapore (feel old yet?). Moving with the times, we now present you with Singapore KVM plans with 3rd-gen AMD Ryzen CPUs that offer incredible single and multi-threaded performance.
Today’s Offers
All plans are backed by Ryzen 9 3900X CPU, DDR4 ECC RAM, speedy NVMe storage in RAID 1 for redundancy, a performant network with local / regional peering, and the service level that differentiates HostUS from the run-of-the-mill hosting company.
You have full selection of the common Linux / BSD OSes, and Windows is available on 2GB+ RAM plans. Upon request we can load any custom ISO you want to install, and one FREE snapshot is included.

Wait for activation. Everything looks good
Those who order from LET, kindly hold off on ( > 1minute) benchmarks for 10-14 days. You'll be paying for 1month minimum anyway right?
The first week is absolutely the worst time to feed your benchmark mania. (Some of us are actually trying to install and load out Operating systems of choice)
Once one user posts a YABS or Geekbench, there is no need for EVERYONE to do so for couple weeks at least.
Use week1 to do something useful with the VPS. Install and run some self-hosted tool that makes use of the powerful single threaded compute power of the 3900x. (nodejs, python, ruby, Java apps come to mind)
Hostus is a reputable host. I doubt there is any need for you to 'stress test' the host node and ruin the experience for everyone else. I am sure the host has done own stress testing and knows how to run the host node at healthy capacity. (hope there's some fair share cpu-throttling for good measure)
All the best.
Well,what's the bandwidth?1Gbps or 100Mbps?
Good price but is that possible to optimize the connection for Malaysia user?

With OVH SG,i can get within 10ms. (From Telekom Malaysia-AS4788)
It’s 1gbps
Can definitely be improved - could you provide a few traceroutes from your location to our Looking Glass?
Here is it.
Do you count both IN+OUT traffic?
Any chance on lower NVME disk to increase RAM? As I only use VPS to serve website, photos and attachments are host on s3.
Thanks - we're looking to set up bilateral peering with TM which will reduce latency.
Yes, traffic in both directions count towards the transfer quota.
Send me a PM with your requirements
Will be also Ryzen KVM available in near future in UK & NL (europe locations) pls?
Can't wait for Sydney!
UK & NL are getting network upgrades to 10Gbps, once that's done we'll be looking at adding additional offerings. We will have some nice gear for our Aussie customers as well.
Alexander
is it recuring price?
this is TOP PROVIDER = SURE IS
(no shits, no nose pulls, cunning marketing and no fake baits)
Oh darn! When will this end? How much is this normally? 77ms ping...
Thank you sir. Yes, prices stay the same as long as you renew. No surprises here
Just added some more stock - once they sell out, the next shipment is some weeks away.
If you think there is room for improvement, drop me a PM with some traceroutes, we will look into it.
Alexander
What's a "nose pull"?
In my lang this means approx:
To pull someone by the nose = Lure him into something seemingly amazing, as it really is, misleading marketing
yes, also can be good one
(man on this GIF bought VPS for $10 yearly and after first year shit provider ask him $30 for another year renew)
if this wretched man had bought the VPS rather from the HostUS, his nose could be fine
BTW" similarly i had 21 VPSes, each one for 1 €/monthly by Aruba and then they announced me after a years that "this is not more valid" and new price is 2.75 € for each one monthly. Very nice and very serious to the existing longer time paying good customers.
In my opinion, a good provider will not do this, I canceled all their VPSes, at least out of principle, and Aruba is not MORE VALID for ME as possible provider (but remains in memory as unserious provider for me). (But sure If anyone, or they, does have different opinion on their 2.7-fold increase, no problem, I just only clarified my own)
Frankly, most of us LET regulars were prepared for this, and had second options bookmarked.
I guess 7yrs ago I would have been upset. Now it's just life. 🤷🏻♂️
Edit : sorry about hijacking the thread.
For what it's worth, I purchased one on day 1 and I am thrilled with ryzen performance.
See my wireguard benchmark on this vps.

Great to hear that! We've been very happy with the new deployment in Singapore overall.
On a side note, our OpenVZ customers in Singapore will be treated to Ryzen in the next few days. No more old E5's
Alexander
Can I apply for a refund if I am not satisfied after use?
Do you have a status page or uptime monitor?
You can give me the KVM 😁
JK. Buy with confidence.
Use the looking glass for transfer speed tests if that's your concern

Hmm.. Sorry but I do not understand and cannot imagine who can be (any normal person) not satisfied with these Ryzen flashes and wonderful offers
Additionally such offer-combination of: AMD/Total performance + KVM + NVMe + very good price, and all by one of the best provider (reliable skilled top provider = guarantee that all will be best as possible)
ordered, waiting for activation.
Finally, Ryzen + NVME in SG
Grab 3 vps with confidence!
