HostLaunch by ServerPilot? A new alternative for...
@ServerPilot tweeted this a few hours ago:
We're proud to announce HostLaunch, a new hosting automation service. Check out our blog post for more details and info on how to request access to the preview!
In their official docs:
HostLaunch is a platform for running a modern web hosting company. With HostLaunch, you can be up and running with your own managed VPS hosting company in minutes.
You'll have a portal for your users to create accounts, log in, purchase servers, and manage PHP and WordPress applications on those servers.
You and your support team will also have an interface where you can view information about and manage your business and customers.
When one of your customers purchases a VPS from you, HostLaunch uses your Stripe or PayPal API key to charge the customer and then creates a server for your customer using your DigitalOcean and ServerPilot API keys.
The actual VPS belongs to DigitalOcean. ServerPilot is used to configure and manage web hosting on those servers. SendGrid is used to send email on your behalf to your customers. PayPal and Stripe are used to charge your users.
Anyone has actually requested the preview access and kind enough to share their experience? I used @ServerPilot in the past and was wondering if HostLaunch actually solved some of the most important areas on deploying/maintaining VPS for your clients the traditional (cPanel/Solus/Virtualizor) ways and how is it better than the cloud hosting platforms out there. I'm aware that the VPS will be hosted on ColoCrossing DigitalOcean, so you can bet the technology/people behind this new project is quite reputable.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds cool
Just in time for Summer.
So... it's reseller hosting, with shinier branding, basically.
That's what I think as well.
what OP banned?
Hi @sudoranger & others on the thread -
Thanks for your interest in HostLaunch!
As we move toward our production launch next month, we're actively working on increasing our documentation to include more screenshots to give more visibility on what your clients will see on their end, as well as how it all works.
https://hostlaunch.io/docs/
Our goal is to offer highly performant servers as well as a simple and easy-to-navigate dashboard for your clientele, and the ability to easily billing and manage customers for the hosting company.
My best recommendation to see whether ServerPilot (which is the foundation for HostLaunch) works for you would be to set up a similar test using our 14-day free trial. Then, if you like what you see, sign up for HostLaunch and blast off to success, as it were.
For the quickest response to any questions, concerns, or feedback, please feel free to send in a request to support[at]hostlaunch[dot]io and we'll be in touch with you shortly.
Thanks again!
@serverpilot_support It's so amazing you necro post on a thread a year old and fail to post those amazing results because you are lazy or can't be bothered. Where is your provider/shill tag?
