Yep, like i said its prem. What is the price of your VM for 4gb ram?

Base package pricing with 4GB of RAM would be as follows:

    2 CPU Cores,
    4GB RAM,
    8TB Bandwidth,
    30GB Replicated Disk,
    1 IPv4,
    20GB Backup Storage,
    OnApp HA KVM,
    Linux OS,
£28.93 per month on SSD, £27.93 per month on SAS.

Windows Server can also be licensed for £12.50 per month.

If you can post here the specs would really be grateful.

As well as bandwidth limit. Iirc i was having a hard time looking for the bandwidth limit in your site. Cpu, and disk would be great too. Thanks.

We offer 2TB of bandwidth per 1GB of RAM assigned to an instance.

Bandwidth is 2tb per gb of ram the VPS has if I remember correctly.

    That is correct, thanks Tom!

Holy...not to be an ass but what exactly warrants that price point for that...thing?

Not sure about NetApp and all that but at that price point it seems they use drugs instead.

Its not for everyone :) Some requires that type of setup.

I guess the cores are real cores and not parts (e.g. 33%) of a hardware thread, the processors are reasonably current models, memory is DDR4 min. 2400 and ECC, the node hardware isn't "whatever was cheapest to get" (usually 2nd hand HP or Supermicro) but new and a good brand like e.g. Dell, the storage devices are enterprise ones, the bandwidth isn't "cheapest available" but a good and sensible blend, the support team isn't the cheapest labour found and trained for 3 days, and so on.

Many don't get that but to go from 99% to 99,95% is as costly or even more expensive than the step from 90% to 99%.

  • I've joined clouvider, thank you all for the feedback.
I will definitely give vultr a try as well for another project of mine in the near future.
