Looking for an additional remote support rep!
Hello everyone,
I'm looking to hire a new remote person to work L1/L2 type of support tickets. I'm looking for someone that can work during Saturday/Sunday during main business hours (9 - 5 PST) at minimum. The more days you want to work the better, but those are the minimum.
The perfect candidate would have:
- Experience with cPanel and at least dabbed into Directadmin. Experience in Directadmin would be a huge plus.
- A good handling on trouble shooting and debugging. I need someone that can work at a problem, even if it means trolling around stackoverflow.
- A decent grasp of the english language. Other languages such as Spanish and Chinese would be a huge plus.
- Experienced in Linux at the very least. Experience in Windows would be a major positive.
Wage will be negotiated.
Please PM me here with your resumes or just to talk things over.

...Are you trying to snap my thread?

It means that all problems must be solved by ourselves. Can't we refer to the existing solutions on the network?
No, it means that you can look at the problem and at least attempt to fix it and can work towards it. Not just kick the ticket to me and say "i dunno".
Asking myself or Anthony for help is fine. Asking on every single ticket, every single time, is a problem.
Francisco
Better to mention the time zone. Assuming it's US working hours.
Good call. Updated.

What do you think about @MikePT ?
El Cheapo supportβ’
Can lend a helping hand so I can polish my knowledge more with issues but the time zone different is more.
MrGeneral is just what BuyVM needs!
I wouldn't mind helping out as I spend too much time online anyway, but non-competes...
Best of luck Fran
Can I get paid in bananas? ππ
Sorry, hay only.
Francisco
Can we meet in the middle on apples or carrots?
I don't think he do weekends
On another board, he said, that he's considering to work on weekends
Oh, wasn't aware.
Sadly I'm not from a Computer Science Background
Why isn't @MikeET here yet?
Or was it @MikePT?
Hey @Francisco, steph here. Given the type of tickets I usually open for my reseller plan, do you think I'd be good for the gig? I mean, I usually get them solved myself, just that damn ip unblocker never works for me
Ahaha. I had to fix a lot of bugs in it but it works now.
You'd probably be fine. You're welcome to apply.
Francisco
Very interesting job offer Frans
Thank you guys!
Yeah weekends may very well be what we need...
We're expecting a baby so yeah, money is needed, and I stay most of the time in the office or at home anyway!
Sent @Francisco a message
IT'S HAPPENING!
I mean, I hope. It's not everyday you're looking for a support rep and you get the General itself.
Good luck Mike
Good luck
Hell yeah! :P
Thanks guys!
Congratulations on the baby mate! All the best
Would knowing you from the DA period be a plus or minus?
Francisco,
I'm a huge fan of your service, I've talked to you and Anthony a few times. We had some issues on my node this week and like magic ... They were gone. I would answer support tickets for you boys (and Karen) for free. Fact is I'm a power user. Anyone that visits this forum meets that criteria. Your team is above and beyond that level. My $15 a month won't ever go any where else. You guys and girls rock! If you had a forum or a volunteer ticket system I'm there to help out. I mean that sincerely. Technology is my passion and I work in a very different industry. This is where I come for enjoyment.
