Edit: I was asking about how much it would cost to upgrade it to SSD.
Edit: Got a hold of the live chat and John was really helpful. I just wish you had more options for SSD and not just have 2TB and cost +$25/m.

We are currently not offering customizations of that server. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to customize a dual processor server.

@1gservers Per cost wise. How has the blade servers been working over doing individual boxes?

They are more power efficient, since there’s two nodes feeding off the same set of redundant power supplies. That’s the main cost savings. Additionally, they offer 3 PCI slots (2 full height). It’s also nice to be able to slide the node out to change memory, peripherals, etc and not affect the other node. The other bonus is 6x 3.5” bays for disks, whereas a 1U system would only have 4x bays.

I just had seen on twitter supermicro posting this beautiful thing and had seen that y'all used blades as well. Pretty neat stuff. Although I would think probably could buy a nice home for the cost of one of these things fully tricked out.
Sorry for the post hijack. Just admiring your hardware.

Thanks for your question. We do not provide DDOS protection at this time. I would recommend a host that specializes in that.

    From our post:
Bring your own IPs (min size /24) w/ LOA ($15/mo or $150/yr)
Free BGP when you bring your own IPs

We will do BGP with you for the purpose of advertising your own IP blocks. Having said that, it's $15/month or $150/year to advertise your own IP blocks. This is to cover our administrative costs related to advertising your IP block(s) on the Internet.
