Might be helpful to add- network speed, server location, network carriers what the * means after SSD and Ram. Look at some of the other offer posts that are more verbose than yours. Would give you some great ideas of things to include. Are you an LLC or corp or sole proprietorship? How long in business etc etc. Where is your company registered. Also who is data_ideas? Is it KVM?

@AlienData_Josh I suggest listing the location(s) of your services (not just in the post, but your website, too!). Maybe look at some other offers and use that as a template for what information to include. You're going to get called a Summer Host, you're kind of missing a lot of the bare minimum new companies already have. e.g. listing virtualization tech (openvz, kvm, xen, etc). So you might want to peruse some of your competitors for what information they provide.

"Need Colocation." should end with a question mark.

Also, I think you're supposed to have direct links to the offer to order. Might want to double check on requirements before your next offer posting. It seems like you didn't put much effort into it.

Lastly, can you explain to me this new math?

Edit: The monthly price and the "Total Due Today" numbers are not on the same page as the other for any items. I'm curious what bug this is making these strange totals.

  • @AlienData_Josh Can you provide a looking glass or test IPv4?

  • As this is lowendtalk, how about a 0.5A option?

    True.
I haven't thought about colo for a RPI due to offering them as "dedicated" machines.
I will have to figure out what would be the best solution for a colo raspberry pi.
Unless you want to take a full 1U?

    C3758 - 64 gb ecc, 4x 4tb ssd. => runs at 45 w fans on full when benchmarking
    C3958 - 12gb ecc 2x 2tb, 2x 4tb ssd => runs at 55w w. fans on full when benchmarking.
(both boards are supermicro a2sdi )

Wow. That impressive. It's amazing on how efficient servers have gotten now a days.
Is that over 120v or 220v?

    Watt Volt Amps
    55 120 0.45833
    55 110 0.50000

    55 230 0.23913
    55 220 0.25
    55 208 0.26442

As far as i understand it the Watts stay the same, the amps change with the volts.
    For your comparison/consideration.
(for my bencharking i run a copy job for every ssd-pair, and xmrig with threads=corecount, fans on full in ipmi.... a workload it never really reaches.)

cool for building small storage appliances/backup servers.

cool, but slightly more power hungry:

People in 2 other threads very politely told you things you should add to a sales post. Yet you did none of them. Where are servers located? Test IP? Network providers, 100 or 1 G? Putting a link under each item. I am sincerely impressed at your indifference to the other people who took the time to write sincere replies to your other "sales" thread.

    Free Windows 10?

How's that working out in your SPLA?

So there is no license applied to it. (You will need your own license)
Although "personally" I've had a few machines run 10 without a license for months and only a few things you can't do like change wallpaper.
If you choose to do that. You are doing at your own risk. Data Ideas LLC. or Josh Roberts holds no responsibility for any action that may be caused from running an unlicensed windows 10.

  • What is the acceptable level of shared core cpu utilization?

  • DataIdeas-JoshDataIdeas-Josh Member, Patron Provider

generally 25% of 1 core depending on package.. but I do understand that while doing some things it will peak the core.

    1GB - 25% cpu
    2GB - 50% cpu
    4GB - 75% cpu

Beyond that you will get into the dedicated cores.
Most of the time I don't see much of the the plans above going over their percentages.

Control panel of the Alien ship needs a bit of learning. Some earthlings might prefer a simpler one.
