Someone gave me a Xen on OnAPP platform. Unixbenchmark 250
And then he move me to KVM on OnAPP, same hardware with empty node, Unix Benchmark 700

  • That depends. Are you trying to make your performance soar or are you trying to gimp it?

If you want hardware virtualization, do KVM. If you just want a VM, do Xen PV. If you don't care about an archaic kernel and gimped features, use OpenVZ. If you don't care about kernel but want features, use LXC.

Forex is Foreign Exchange, when you change foreign currency. SSD is SSD.

What has foreign exchange to do with SSD?

  • nothing - they are just ssd-based VPSs that he expects people to use for Forex trading.

Of course, people needing servers that will be handling large amounts probably won't be buying a low end VPS, let alone one from Dewlance

  • Ohhh now I get it thanks

Nice to see you know what you doing.

    AutoBoot will come with SSDs?

  • Do you have VPS for Stock Trading? I might need one to host a Fix Engine

  • Security is task of both hosting provider and end user.

Either mentioned can be raised to required level of security. All the rest is personal preference of features required from VM.
