What happens if you go over your bw allocation on Dacentec?

Throttle or cutoff?

Side-note: is my server supposed to look this way?

    That would be too sensible

I don't want to rustle the nest. I don't know if my empty graph means they're not counting my bw :)

Not that I'm planning on abusing it but I might go over 10 TB a bit every once in a while.

Just because you can't see it, doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist. ;)

If you really want to know, I do not see any other way than asking your provider.

  • I think that changed to 10 Mbps. You can confirm with them.

  • Thanks

  • Called them at the number listed on their site, but it went to voicemail way too fast for comfort. Can't help you there, but thought I'd at least try.

Number I called was 828-393-4443 from their Contact Us page.

    Does she love me?

    I am never gonna ask.

  • Thanks @SolderOtter . I contacted them, they don't cut you off immediately but give you the chance to update your bw allotment permanently if you go over. If you don't upgrade then they cut you off.
