SmallWeb provides shared, reseller and email hosting using the DirectAdmin control panel.

Last month we released a new location in Germany and this month we've restocked our Luxembourg serviced on a new server after many months of unavailability.

Plans for the future include server specification upgrades, conversion to CloudLinux for AMS1 and LUX2 (Awaiting CloudLinux 8) and potential moves to dedicated servers where necessary. .

Anything you'd like to suggest? Please let me know!

If you have a service on LUX1 (Our older Debian server) remember you can contact me to transfer to LUX2 (CentOS pending CloudLinux) and receive a free upgrade to the next package specification until 29th of February 2020.

If you don't transfer you wont receive future CloudLinux benefits but the server will be maintained for 6 months+.

  • As 99% of my original cPanel customers originally came from LET I thought it fitting to post this here:

    Hello Customer,

We are writing to advise you about changes to our schedule in regards to the discontinuation and cancellation of our cPanel server and all cPanel hosting services.

We originally announced that this server and all services would be taken offline on the 22nd of May 2020. However, our network provider for the location has today announced changes to their default private nameservers which we utilise and pass on to you.

From 15th March 2020 the following nameservers will no longer resolve:
    leo.liveboxserver.com / 37.187.59.48
    orion.liveboxserver.com / 198.50.150.175
    lyra.liveboxserver.com / 198.50.146.1

The network provider for this location has provided new nameservers but due to the efforts required to ensure all users update their DNS (for a service set to expire 60 days after), we will be moving the closure and discontinuation of cPanel servers and services to 15th March 2020.

On 15th March 2020 your domain will no longer resolve and your data for this service will be permanently deleted. We have previously emailed regarding a transfer to DirectAdmin and this option is still available but will also require a change of domain name servers.

Thank you for using our services. SmallWeb started with cPanel and your custom is appreciated. Without you, SmallWeb wouldn’t be where it was today.

Please contact me with any questions you may have.

    Regards,
    Michael

Daily backups for user accounts. Seperate database backups for locations other than Singapore. Yes to IPv4/6 support and WordPress SQL. :)

Only one left on the promo code.
