All services can now add additional Bandwith automatically when you order or if you want to upgrade in the future :)

  • Hello,
is there any offer where i can install my own OS?
I want to install a server with some graphical interface, which is not possible with the normal servers, because normaly there only is an image for minimal installations.
    Thanks.

I think the answer is a single word that begins with the letter n in many languages. But will wait and see what the more knowledgeable folks have to say on the matter

What a complicated way to say "no".

Not really. Let's hope you are familiar with or have read up about NAT.
There’s always magic as a solution to do things as mentioned here : https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/2930349/#Comment_2930349

Let's wait what others have to say before commenting on my answer.

Haven't you already asked this before? https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/155063/upload-iso-to-gullo-vps

Just get a KVM from a provider if that is what you want

This just might become a question that is asked annually. Jan 2019– > Jan 2020 —> ?

  • Isn't it a different thing if i ask, if an existing VPS contract has a feature or if i ask, if there is a offer for this feature?
    For me it is.

If you guys don't know the answer to my questions, please don't waste our time with your comments.
Is it only me, or why does everybody blame others instead of trying to give helping answers?

Sorry if im pissed, but answers like that don't help at all.
    Thanks.

Last year, you received two answers, both of which you were grateful for:

    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/2930343/#Comment_2930343

    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/2930357/#Comment_2930357

So this year, instead of asking "is there any offer where i can install my own OS?" when you can see that all of the offers above are OVZ (and so do not allow for an ISO), it would have been clearer to have asked "does @Cam offer KVM yet?". (The answer is no.)

How many people do you represent?

Is it only me, or why does everybody blame others instead of trying to give helping answers?

Relevant questions do get awesome, helpful answers. Repeating a question that has already been answered does not. My takeaway from the 2019 version of your question is that a VPS with a custom ISO is what you are looking for. In 2020, you need a VPS with a custom ISO and some sort of a graphical interface. In either case you did not specify the following:
    a. Budget
    b. Your preferred mode of payment
    c. Disk space
d.Type of disk HDD or SSD or NVMe?
    e. RAM - for e.g. is 800 MB sufficient? Or does the OS + Graphical interface of your choice specify 2 GB RAM?
    f. Operating System- Do you need Windows? or Linux or BSD?
    g. How many CPU cores or threads does your preferred graphical interface require?
    h. Do any of the NAT configs in the offer meet the hardware minimums? (In that case your question should have been more specific - e.g. Can I do X with offer Y?)

    Finally,
When What can a NAT do and not do? Hint: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation

What I wrote above is not significantly different that what others had posted last year. Or may post this year. Or next.

So, if you think you are pissed off and your (plural, collective) precious time is getting wasted, you probably would be better off stepping into the right sandpit, i.e a KVM or similar.

I want to install a server with some graphical interface, which is not possible with the normal servers, because normaly there only is an image for minimal installations.

You can install a minimal OS image, and then add packages to create graphical interface.
    For example: https://packages.debian.org/buster/task-lxde-desktop

To access the desktop, you’ll need to install a VNC server inside the VPS, and get a VNC client on your tablet.

The largest 512MB RAM package in this offer will be enough for some desktop.

I don't offer any way to install your own OS however as @yoursunny mentioned, You can always install the desktop yourself along with a VNC server to allow for remote access.
Please note, these are NAT servers and are not recommended for novice users who are not willing to do research and learn on their own.

  • I'm just posting to express my gratitude: I got hosting for a year in Canada for $2 (paid with Bitcoin Lightning Network!) 4 months ago, and it has 124 days uptime now. I don't need much, just ssh access to run a script, and I LOVE the fact that the server just keeps running. The performance is perfect for my needs. That's exactly what I need, so thanks!
I'm about to order 100 GB hosting, I'll use it to download files, and act as a hot spare in case my other hosting disappears (it's happened to me before).

Small heads up: when ordering, the ToS link I have to agree to doesn't work: https://billing.gullo.me/tos should be https://hosting.gullo.me/tos.

Use it to learn about firewalls and such, install different ones and then learn how to set them up. Install dns servers see how the work, install small foot printed web servers, Install VPN software if you so desire.

There are many things you can do with them.
