HostDoc exodus: Need low cost yearly EU storage KVM with 500G disk space

Hi. Just noticed the happy letter from a HostDoc.
I'm just going to copy-paste the same stuff from a couple of months ago:

I need a storage EU KVM for backups and running personal VPN go get around censorship.

HDD: I need 512Gb disk space
CPU, RAM: I pretty much don't care
Bandwidth: 1T? Any reasonable bandwidth proves to be more than enough for me
Port Speed: I care more about latency for occasional personal VPN use
IPs: 1 ipv4
Location: EU

What are the current best yearly deals on such an instance?

Thank you.

===============================
P.S. Can someone point me to a HostDoc drama?

I like @cociu but you need to have reasonable expectations. My storage servers with him are for backups that I can afford to go down or with poor read-write speeds, but not sure if that's OP's comfort level.

Well, for US im using vpsdime and letbox. They even have a latest offer : https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/162806/block-box-storages-nvme-3-30#latest ( 1 TB for $5 )

If you need in EU, I suggest going with Backovia. They have some really solid performance.

Your 512g KVM deal looks good to me.
Is there a test file anywhere to check connectivity?
Are you okay with personal VPN usage? I know some providers are not.

Also, is this a valid state of things in your area? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_censorship_in_Romania
I can live without access to some porn sites.

Thank you. Unfortunately EU is a must.
    I already have a US backup/vpn mirror.

I mostly care for ethernet latency and throughput to my home network for VPN.
Definitely don't want to get another email informing me of the need to gtfo.

Not sure how reasonable is that nowadays. Thing is I've had a US instance with SpeedyKVM for years cheaper than the one from HostDoc.
So far it was the perfect relationship: everything worked from their side, I wasn't trouble, no need for us to talk.

HostDoc was the furthest from being trouble-free among the 4 providers I've tried, and this is not counting in the elephant in the room: it's closure.

Is EU that much harder to turn a profit from?

    Hey Bud,
There's seem to be a confusion. That is for IPv6 :).

    Oh, I haven't realized that.

Can you please clarify two things for me:

    2. Are you okay with personal VPN usage? I know some providers are not.

    Thanks.

Thanks. I usually have to ask since connectivity from Ukraine home providers can be all over the place.
    I found the file: http://lgger.nexusbytes.com/1000mb.test.zip

Network is better on both latency and speed than the France box with HostDoc I'm migrating from.

    Hey Brother,
I see you found the file and yes, personal VPN is cool. My tos is very simple, don't get in trouble, don't get me in trouble and don't be a dick :)

We're going to like each other then.
I've ordered an instance from you.

If I may forward a suggestion, "(Not Available In Germany)" perhaps will look better as "(ipv6 Not Available In Germany)"

Maybe I'm just slow, but I really thought this applies to the offer itself.

    WOOT WOOT!!

I think I know what happened, by any chance, are you on a smaller screen?

No, but I use semi-tiling two-panel window layout (and don't respect webfonts).
Stretching browser window to fullscreen indeed makes it much more obvious.
