Wait
I have free lifetime hosting from a provider here
You will pay me 10% if I switch?
10% of nothing is still nothing....
Lifetime would be considered a one time promotion so no
I would offer your life time price divided by 10 paid annually.
0/10 = $0/year :P
You're gonna have to #switch.
Does the location need to be the same to qualify for price match?
Also, does UK based support mean these people are working from a UK office (GMT) and are fluent in British English?
Smallweb is great shared hosting choice! I moved all my production sites to them. Fast & stable, support so friendly!
Any location is fine. Me and my company, are based in the UK.
I have an old buyvm shared-1G plan(6 yrs) with dedicated IP, is smallweb also can match the price/specification with dedicated IP?
Francisco offers perhaps one of the hardest services to compete with. Unfortunately I cant do the dedicated IP. 😞😁
Hey whats the deal with Romanian location, is it in the plans?
Unfortunately the demand ended up being too low for sustained growth.
Is the Shared Hosting MailChannels/MXRoute?
At this moment, there is no MailChannels integration. Our Email hosting plan is provided through MXroute/DirectAdmin.
Seems like LAX server has been down for 12 hours now. Created a ticket and no response either
You should now have received a response. I deeply apologise. I have also responded in the other thread.
original package from 2011
actual usage only few hundred MB and almost idle all the time.
i pay $15/3y recurring until now. I'm not sure you are willing to do Price Match hahahahaha
Php 5 and MySQL 5 in 2020 are difficult to match. No HDD. Smallweb has DA plans on SSD/NVMe as mentioned in the OP.
Not sure why a provider would downgrade their systems to match a 9 year old offer
EDIT: Oops, wrong thread.
afaik, at the moment server use ssd for the storage.
about software, i'm sure any provider always update their software for improvement and security reason.
my provider migrate from cpanel to DA, but unfortunately also move from LA to NY.
make me think possibility move to another provider.
Hm. Your first post did not mention the move from LA to NY, you only bragged about the price and mentioned the specs from 2011. That was painting half the picture.
That is a a very dangerous assumption.
