plesk is more for web hosting rather than VPS.

Proxmox is a good choice if you're managing the VPS yourself and don't things like billing integration, etc.

This won't end well according to OP's thread history.

I have not created a single thread. Verify it if you dare.

  • Try virtualizor, or Proxmox.

You also have the option of using VMManager from ISPSystem.com. They provide good support if this is your first try to host VPS in general.

If you plan to use the VPS for yourself or for a few users, you can use VMWare ESXi. Proxmox is a good option as well.

I wouldn't know to be honest. I don't have any VPS's that clients need to self manage.

  • If you're looking to manage VPS then you can go for solusVM or Virtualizor both of the panels support WHMCS billing module and easy to manage.

Plesk is more suitable for webhosting..
If it's for personal work then go with Proxmox
If it's for commercial use then you can try solusvm or virualizor

Yeah Proxmox. We use SolusVM for our clients' servers, but recently deployed Proxmox for all our own internal virtualization. It's super powerful, though not quite as easy to set up without knowledge of technology and virtualization, as say SolusVM or Plesk.

If you have the time, Proxmox is way worth it to learn, as it's way more flexible/configurable than most of the other options out there.

You could always try oVirt too (which is the open source project behind RHEV), but that is not at all easy to set up. Probably one of the most difficult ones out there to configure.
