MxRoute Issue

Dear @jar

Can you please ensure that you have [email protected] email working?

We have account with Friday server taken during 2018 Black Friday for 3 years. The Server SSL/TLS or whatsoever certificate seems expired, we get errors while sending emails.

We afraid, it will affect our business. I have tried login into chat support through mxroute username/password, but it goes to cycle loop, between chat and mxroute login page/oauth.

You are known here to be a human, kindly help your customer with human email id which can be read by a human and replied by a human please..

I am writing here, as I could not reach you at any other medium..

Happy new year..

Thanks

  • Good luck, the platform runs to basically have no ticket queue intentionally as it's low budget.

I had similar issue but may not be the same issue, I logged into the chat and told them about my issue, he refreshed the cert.

  • @greattomeetyou If you had chat account open let them know there is a certificate issue with friday server. I have difficult time to login there, not sure why. thank you.

    https://mxroute.com/support/

It's on the top of the website. Also note on that page:

Temporary issue on chat: First logins will require admin approval, and it may not be apparent that this is the case due to a bug in RocketChat. It may look like a login loop. Due to harassment by a single user who flooded our chat system with inappropriate messages, we are forced to temporarily approve accounts. We’ll message you to let you know that it’s clear, and this will trigger an email alert.

The server's certificate is not expired, if you need to check on AutoSSL you can execute this from cPanel without admin intervention required.

  • @gks - I'm not exactly sure but am under the impression that mxroute support channels may have been (temporarily) sidelined to better handle recent harassment and DDoS - and in the meantime you might get in touch more easily via https://hostballs.com

Odd, the reason that didn't deliver should have caused none to ever deliver despite doing so consistently before it. Corrected regardless, not sure what to think about it. Account activated.

It was AutoSSL. Unfortunately cPanel doesn't consistently run AutoSSL anymore, because why should it do it's job now that it costs $15,000/year

Customers can execute AutoSSL themselves if needed, so they don't have to wait for me to resolve an issue. Here's a screenshot that should help to locate it: https://sh.donnell.online/mumEz7T2/

  • @jar, thanks, the chat is activated for me, I will take support via chat.

@FAT32/moderators, kindly close this thread, as the issue is resolved.

Will be writing a tutorial on SSL/TLS setup for websites and intend to use MXroute service as an example for webmail.mydomain.com certificate setup for those using an external mail service (not shared hosting provider's one).

Tight with time, with some managed WP hosting tests/reviews taking a priority, but I'll get there. :)

Only covered DNS settings for now (any additions and especially corrections are more than welcome):
