The rest-the-billing-system deal I assume (after the recent frenzy)

  • VirMach said: That deal actually oversold by 40% because people literally clicked it at the same exact second to where WHMCS couldn't even count it correctly.

    See, features! ;')

  • Any good deal $4.00-$5.00 a year for Atlanta?

Jeez... I'm just wondering what kind of volumes do you really sell...

Buffalo is "The land of infinite servers", you know?

I'll look into it, that sounds like the way to go. If you're doing this yourself and have a nice way of handling it, I'd love to hear more about it or even see your script. If it's too specific or you don't feel like sharing, don't worry - I'll have to dig into this later anyway cause I want to understand it better.

Edit: why will this be posted?

Does anyone know how I can get the username of my solusvm account? I haven't been sent the login details but I can log in via a URL from the billing panel.

You should get it in a mail with subject "Your server's ready!" (unless things changed since last year). But VirMach did say that the server's will be created in a staggered fashion (i.e. if everything works "within 1 hour"... if not maybe 2... if stuff broke... even more!) (A bit of that is me paraphrasing)

Something along those lines pop-up in OS selection page (which you probably pass using some trick anyway!?! :) )

Also, beware in case you are running Windows. It has a nasty habit of letting loose some processes that hog cpu for a while after the updates. That's one of the reasons, the multi-core KVMs are a must for Windows so that you're within your CPU limits (mostly anyways).

  • For 94mb ram, maybe you could try use debootstrap to install system in rescue mode.
Sorry I only have phone now, so I can't quote word.****

  • Hello, page 12.
Still request for server under 10$ in Piscataway

    I think you'll find it ... challenging.

  • Request the CHEAPEST VPS you can offer @Virmach. I challenge you.

If you can offer the CHEAPEST vps ever, i'll buy you a coffee or two ;)

  • @FoxelVox said: If you can offer the CHEAPEST vps ever

You should provide a legit use case though.

  • No more sleeping for the next few nights...Thanks @VirMach

Can we get some more Windows 6MB Ram + 6 CPU + 60GB SSD. Buffalo is great location.

  • Request: A great sub-$25 (and/or a sub-$10) deal that one could get with a bit of puzzle solving like last years Easter Eggs. I want my "Deadpool 3"! (or at least the thrill of trying to beat 10,000 puzzle solvers! :) ).

I've had a VirMach Piscataway KVM with:

    Memory: 1 GB
    Disk Space: 15 GB
    Bandwidth: 500 GB

for over a year that I'm paying $10/year for so it is possible.

1000 times this. It would behoove Virmach to link to two pages that have workarounds to the high CPU on a fresh Windows server. I forget the details, one is .NET optimization related and I think the other Windows Update related. A two core server can get in and make the changes much easier than a 1 core already cpu pegged.

Or just fix the template to change a couple of services to disabled and prevent in first place.

    Request idea (if feasible)

Backup bundle of VMs, let's say three VMs with similar (fairly low) specs other than disk, located in different datacenters. I'm in the market for a few VMs in different DCs so I can setup a few instances of Borg
