Hostclean and awful network

Hello LET Users. My small review about Hostclean.

Story start when i saw greate offer, that i think it was, "10$ YR VPS SERVER !!!! The offer is valid for 1 month for the annual HCR - VPS 1 payment: 10.08.2018-10.09.2018" from Hostclean.

$2 /Month

After ordered. First problem was that it not start at all after activation. I'm open ticket, waited 1-2 days until it will be fixed. When provider fixed it, i tried to connect to SSH but port was blocked. Again gone to tickets, after 1 day it was fixed. Ok i connect to it and start to test it. And what i saw was awful. Results of test below. Then i asked about network and get answer "In This time to do works on the internet network, that's why it's so slow. Please try now.". I tried but nothing change. Asked again and answer "We're not done yet, work. We let you know when it's ready, test it again." 2 weeks gone and nothing change, 4 weeks gone and nothing change. Then asked again and ask refund. Got answer "Your server is in a connected shared port, that means more users use that port. There is still a small modification of the network, and everything will work properly."

My Conclusions:

Do not recommend it. Better buy from Hostsolutions (@cociu is much better) if you need Romania location. I use hostsolutions about 3 month and did not have any problems except old templates (now Hostsolutions support new templates if right i'm understand).

I think that is awful provider because:

First. Provider must info if he have problem with network before customer buy it. I mean not about small problem that can be fixed in 1-3 days. Provider can't fix it almost month, maybe it not work properly untill now. I'm still waiting message from provider telling to me that network fixed.

Second. I'm have waited about 3 days or more until my VPS will work properly. I mean i paid for it and it was activate but it can't start until Hostclean fixed it.

Third. I have asked refund because 4 weeks gone but network was not fix. I think it not normal to wait so long. I would not buy it if I knew that the network is so bad. But have answer "Your server is in a connected shared port, that means more users use that port. There is still a small modification of the network, and everything will work properly."It is not big money for me but i'm not like pay for awful product that waste my time.

I'm post this review only because dont want that someone like i waste time with this provider. I think LET is great community with quality cheap providers that help you save not only money but you time too. For example Hostsolutions @cociu , Inception Hosting @AnthonySmith , OVH @ninzo59 , first-root @FR_Michael and many many others share great products with greate quality.

If you have the same problems write post in comment. I know that @zknet have problem with network too from post Post of zknet .

Don't think so because they said about limit if it was but they said "In This time to do works on the internet network, that's why it's so slow." but it was more then 4 weeks.
Sorry forget mention you @Francisco. I test your LU location and it was awsome.

What's up with your disgust of Romania and any hosting company operating from there? Did you get busted for hosting something bad from Romania?

  • Well. I removed my post because I don´t want to be a sourpuss when I am new in town..

    However;

Hostmaze and Hostclean previously shared the same uplink, which made me suspicious because Hostclean only accepts card payments, and Hostmaze also accepts crypto payments.

It turned out that Hostmaze did not have their Solusvm server on SSL. At that time, I just thought that they were incompetent (take a look at their ip range at any malware reporting website, and check out the high amounts of junk hosted on their network)

However in hindsight, maybe their solusvm just or also was not licensed.

Currently Hostclean is using Hostmaze as an uplink. So I wouldn´t be surprised if they are also using the same hardware.

  • ... What I forgot to mention.

Hostmaze did not answer their support emails in a LONG time

So it is rather strange that Hostclean now suddenly uses them as an uplink

    https://www.trustpilot.com/review/hostmaze.com

I would advice to avoid Hostmaze and Hostclean for now

Now where are the impartial admins in response to personal attacks aka hate speech?

I thought google removed all fake news? Does this mean google lied to people? should we sue google?

  • You thought wrong.

  • Only place that review can be found is on the hostclean site itself. Dated 2014 by them.

  • "Port 1 Gbit Shared" Looks like they stack more than 100 customers per node.

  • You should take hostdirty. Definitely cleaner.

I think hostclean is a dead pool now, From last 2 months vps is down and no reply to support tickets and even the live support is not responding and i can see the live chat people are online. I believe they are packing up and getting ready to vanish soon.

    Any comment ?
